away by the river wate. So with the help of the Government the
villagers have built a river diverter to protect the village
from being washed away by the river.

German lady has donated a water pipe line for the Buttura
valley in remembrance of her father who died at Battura
valley. |

Japan
extended US $ 81,565 (approx. 4.7 million Rupees) to save the
Passu village from soil erosion and loss of old agricultural
land.
The grant contract was signed on 21st October in
Islamabad
between His Excellency Mr. Minoru Shibuya, Ambassador of Japan
to
Pakistan
and Mr. Zafar Iqbal, Chairman, Passu Development Organization.
