A Zonda is ; "A wind from the Andes" and Horacio Pagani has a car that can ride like it. Horacio worked as an industrial designer in the early 80's before he became responsible for the composites department of Lamborghini. Ever since he was a boy back in Argentina he had dreams of one day creating his own sports car. And here is the realization of that dream. Back in Argentina, he was a friend of Juan Manuel Fangio, the race car driver and subsequently ended up having a connection to Mercedes, and this is why the Zonda screams! A Mercedes V12 bolted in the midsection delivers enough of a punch to compete with the fastest Ferrari, Porsche, or even a McLaren. The cab forward design is fresh and clean and uses carbon fiber in every nook and cranny of the car. The interior is plush with leather and brushed metal surfaces.
