His second wife was Darcus, they were married on 8/12/1909, their children were:

*Fred Clinton (my husband was named after him)

From Suzeann Moore:

This is L.B., Lenzie's brother, my father-in-law.  It is a picture of him when he was 7 and one when he was 66.  He dies last Nov.  L.B

Here are 2 more, the little boys belonged to L.B., my husband's brother's.  They were twins.  The little one died when he was 4, he had several things wrong with him, but what killed him was he pulled a cooker full of hot grease on himself.  He died a few days later.  His name was Ronnie, he was born July 17, 1956.  He died in July, 1961.  He was buried in GreenBury Hall Cemetery in Ky.  The same one that Darcus is buried in.

The other one died when he was nine, I'm not sure why, he had several things wrong with him too.  His name was Donnie, he was born July 17, 1956.  He died Feb., 1966. He's buried in Ohio, in the Kelloggsville Cemetery.  Ronnie and Donnie

The other picture is of L.B. and Elmer.  Brothers to Lenzie.  L.B. and Elmer

Here's that obit about Darcus, the first part is something she wrote or said to someone.  It's pretty interesting and we're lucky this is still around.  It has been in this beat up old album so long that I can't get it out.  Obit

From Carrie Crum:

I am the granddaughter of Betty Johnson Tackett.

Her parents were William Johnson and Jeanette Johnson.  Jeanette's parents were Kelsie and Darcus Moore.  Jeanette died a week after the birth of her second child Annette.  William Johnson remarried, but his second wife, Polly, still took my grandmother to see Kelse and Darkus Moore for visits.  I have pictures of Kelse and Darkus that were taken when my mother was just a child.  Dacrus and Kelse Moore

I recently heard from a relative of Pauline Moore, but not from Pauline.  She supposedly lives in Reynoldsburg, Ohio.  She is supposed to be married to a primitive baptist preacher.

The boy is Charles Tackett, the blonde girl is my mother Iva Tackett, and the brunette girl is Pat Tackett.  They are the children of Betty Johnson Tackett and Eugene Tackett.  Betty is the only child that lived of Jeanette Moore Johnson.  The other child Annette died about a month after her mother died.  Picnic1

Here is Kelse Moore standing in Central Park in Ashland KY.  He was visiting my grandmother who lived at the time in nearby Russell KY.  My grandmother said he was intrigued by the squirrels not being afraid of people.  The squirrels were frequently fed by picnic people in the park and knew they might get a snack.  That was just an interesting story she told me about them.  Squirrel

From Suzeann Moore:

Julia Moore: It's my husband's grandmother.  She had these cards made up when she was running for jailer.  I like her platform, "I will feed you good and treat you with courtesy".  I think this is the only card in existence anymore.   Julia Moore's Card
