Miscelaneous:
This was not the first Alice project that Walt Disney worked with.  Some of his first animated shorts (well before Mickey was a gleam in his eye) were called the Alice comedies, which featured a live action Alice cavorting with animated characters.  Such shorts led the way for future live action/animation collaborations like Mary Poppins and Who Framed Roger Rabbit.

MPAA Rating:
    G

My Rating:
Alice comes from the Silver Age of Disney, in which such films as Cinderella and Peter Pan were made.  Though the scenes are memorable, there is something about it that does not quite work for me.  I enjoy it, but it is not one of my must sees.
