The Rules

  1. I decide the rules.
  2. I run League(s) using the excellent RoboLeague software by Christian Schnell.
  3. The Melee League is divisions of 10 robots, 1000x800 using default parameters. I try to run seasons using 100 rounds per battle, but usually make the first few seasons a lesser number to stabilise the results quicker.
  4. The One On One League is divisions of 10 robots, 800x600 using default parameters.
  5. The 1v1 Ladder League is divisions of 2 robots, 800x600 using default parameters.
  6. The version of RoboCode that I use is whatever is running on my computer at the time (obviously this won't go backwards).
  7. I may run more than 1 cycle of this process between postings.
  8. I post when I have time.
  9. I will add robots to league(s) if the author sends me an email telling me where on the RoboCode Repository it is located. Do not attach the robot to the email.
  10. Newer versions of robots replace older ones, always. I do not go back to older versions of robots.
  11. If a robot crashes or doesn't run or some other problem, then I will delete that robot from The Gladiatorial League. This may include null pointer exceptions, however this usually just makes that robot do nothing and lose so I will reserve judgement depending on my mood.
