"HAVING AN EFFECT ON PLAYERS WORLDWIDE"

Decipher-Con YJ Day 2
2000-15-10:

Highs and Lows for day 2:

  • H : Enjoying the view, Michonne (Aurra Sing), she knows every detail about her character..
  • L : Loosing 2 games.
  • H : Making it to day 3! The World Finals.
  • L : The service at the Hotel Food outlets SUCKS still!
  • H : Watching the joy in Jennifers face as they tell he she made it to day 3.
  • H : Playing some tough opponants.
  • H : Celebrating with Tim and company at the bar where I can stare (Just Kiddn) at Michonne (Aurra Sing)

Well, I made it ths far. With little sleep..3 hours to be exact, I went into day two with strong decks in my opinion. Both mydecks were more balanced this day, and my wins were by pretty good differentials. Which helped me come in 6th place! International this was, and much fun competeing against the world players, Qualifiers, Contintals and such. I had a great time, and I didn't make any mistakes. So here goes.... Day 2!

Game 1 . (Richard Andichon)

Highs : Don't remember.
Lows : Wishing I could remember the game.

Game 2. Just played against your average deck. (Carly Taylor 1603 Corellia ) My Anakins and Qui-Gons came through. Thank goodness for Combonation battle plans.

FW aginst her Sith Deck by 2(+28)
Highs : Suprising her with the chancellors ambassadors.
Lows : The gave both my decks, deck checks, and that means I have to shuffle ny deck 5 times each to get them working again, you'll see in the coming games.

Game 3. (Irena Nepevna 1867 Sullust ) Ouch! I can almost say that this person stacked thier cards. Damn me for not making her shuffle her deck. It seemed every round she had her combo card, a Qui-Gon, Lightsaber, and a Queen. I feel ripped off! Plus my deck had just been recolor coded from the Judges. So my shuffling still needed some working. On day three of the Team events I told Brad when he faced her to make sure that he had her shuffle her deck. He got a win.

Highs : Learning to make sure I have every player reshuffle thier decks.
Lows : Watching another player have their deck stacked against me, wasn't cool.

Game 4. (John Michaliszyn 1526 Kashyyyk) This had to be one of my funnest game because we both just stuck around on one planet, untill I got all, his characters stuck there and watch his transports go to his lost pile. Not much more to say. The game ended up mine. He was an excellent player though.

FW aginst his Sith Deck by 2(+14)
Highs : Wathcing his Transports go to the lost pile.
Lows : None, it was a great game.

Game 5. (Tim Lau 1731 Hoth: North Ridge) This guy definetly new what he had in his deck. I couldn't get no mauls in my hand, and his pwere Queens tore my deck up. If only I had Maul.

FL aginst his Jedi Deck by 0(-7)
Highs : Playing a close game.
Lows : Having trouble with getting my weapons, no thanks to the Judges recolorizing my decks.

Game 6. Get to play this player again, and I told him not to play tanks. Some people listen and some don't. He played his tanks which gave me the advantage. (Kelly Kunze 1618 Bespin)

FW aginst his Sith Deck by 2(+19)
Highs : Beating a tank deck again!
Lows : Playing the same player I played yesterday with his exact deck.

Game 7. (Katie Billings 1674 Tatooine) She egged me on about my mat. This game was what would put either of us into day 3 of the worlds. I had nothing to fear though because I was playing a very strong deck. Everything worked for me, got the cards I needed, everyhing just worked for me. Thank goodness for one of the most popular games of Force Pushing.

FW aginst her Jedi Deck by 2(+38)
Highs : Making it to day 3.
Lows : Having to play Katie, because I would of liked to see her beat someone else and make it to day 3 also.

Game Eight (Geert Verhamme 1769 undefined ) This was by far the closest game I had that was the most challanging to play. Jar- Jars were in my begining hands and let me kill some of his tanks, that's not what he was playing fully though. I win the first planet. The next planet I had to hold off with scrubb cards. Finally I get another Jar-Jar and Transport into my hand. He kills my transport which takes cards from my Draw deck, is it getting small by now. I surrender the planet and go to the last one, Coruscant. Anakin and Qui-Gon, He battles and looses.

FW aginst his Sith Deck by 2(+7)
Highs : Having alot of fun this game.
Lows : Not playing against a real Wookiee
