The 'Seven' are thrown into a difficult situation when they are sent to escort a prisoner. The accused is Nathan's father...and he is facing a murder charge. Before a divided courtroom, Josiah must attempt to defend the man and convince the judge that hanging him is an unfair justice. Can the 'Seven' keep the peace in a hostile town and will Nathan's father walk away a free man? Meanwhile, a wealthy man comes into town claiming that Ezra's mother, Maude, has stolen from him. He agrees to drop the charges if she will marry him...but how high does she price her freedom?
