The 'Euro-Posse' was established in January 1999, as a branch of the original American 'Posse List' and campaign. The Posse list was the core of the American/Canadian fan-based campaign to keep 'The Magnificent Seven' on US and Canadian screens!

As word of the show spread to people in the rest of the world, members began to appear on the main list from Europe, Australia and even Africa!! The Euro-Posse was originally created as a meeting place for these 'aliens'! :-) Despite the fact that 'The Magnificent Seven' had never been shown on European Television screens, the Euro-Posse began to grow steadily in strength.

When Season Two started, the fans changed their focus from trying to achieve a second season, to trying to bring the show overseas! The list and resulting petition were just two of the ways that the fans tried to organise that fight!

A small but determined group, we have mounted campaigns towards several TV stations, established our own mailing list, created our own website and have even held a promotion at a convention in London. This October we are going to be holding our *third* official gathering - this time as part of the Magnificent Seven *Global Gathering*!

During the last couple of years, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Germany and, outside Europe, Australia, have all aired episodes from season one. On *February 4th* this year, it is finally the UK's turn - so now all we need is the rest of Europe and some great publicity! Fighting prejudice wherever it goes, 'The Magnificent Seven' has still managed to retain a strong following all over the world, and we won't stop until we see it galloping regularly across our screens!!

The Euro-Posse has remained a close, friendly and resilient group and we welcome new members all the time - quite something considering a fair chunk of Europe has still never seen the show!! Although it started as the 'Euro'-Posse, we are now happily combining efforts with other parts of the world and we do have members in America and Australia.
