What is the Summer Institute?
The first week is held on the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) campus and brings together 30 ETS students in a week-long program of academic and cultural enrichment, personal growth, and recreation. The following two weeks are held at Monroe Community College, Damon City Center on Franklin Street, Rochester. There the students will engage in an extensive computer training laboratory to learn computer and Internet basics. Students will learn how to create their own Web page, and PowerPoint presentation using Microsoft software as well as design an ETS student yearbook.
