Extented Tail Application (eXTail):

This is a Java Tail application which works like the Unix Tail.   

• The application will print the tail end of the file ( default 50 lines) and keep printing only the tail end lines, as and when the file is updated
• This can be used to look into the trace / log files of applications.
• Since the Application written in Java,  it can work in any OS (like Windows , Solaris , Linux ) supported by Java.
• Window Look and Feel can be changed
• The Tail file size could be changed
• Tail Font Size, type can be changed

Notes

Please extract the tail_application.zip. Open the file exTail.cmd. Set your Java Home Folder in the JAVA_HOME variable. ( This is where you would have installed Java). Now double-click on the exTail.cmd to launch the extended Java Tail application.
