Looking for one American teacher who is ready to come to Korea!
Teacher would be teaching TOEIC and TOEFL courses to elementary, middle and high school students. Classes are a comfortable average of 12 to a class and you would be teaching 6 hours a day Monday through Friday. No little children!! Saturday work is voluntary and for overtime. Class would usually start from about 2 pm and end in the evening which leaves your mornings free.
Salary and benefits
1.5 million won (1500 dollars) for University degree holders 1.6 million won for education degree holders
No rent - we provide housing with neccesities but you pay utilities
medical insurance - split costs 50% employer 50% employee airfare provided - you get half of roundtrip airfare after 1 month the other half at completion of contract.
relocation allowance - employer would provide some money (around 200 US) upon arrival for things you might need
vacation - 10 days paid along with regular Korean holidays
severance pay - 1 months extra pay at completion of 1 year contract
Pundang
Pundang is a modern city built just 7 years ago. It has nice new department stores, restaurants (including Western fast food), and apartments to live in. The area has a nice view of mountains and there are many nice parks here. One park even has a Bungee jump! (The parks are pretty big) And you will find it is a nice place to live and work. It is convienient to Seoul with both a subway line and several bus lines servicing Seoul.
We would like to fly you to Korea by 8/26. Contract would be for 1 year.
