SCHWANNOMA
Schwannoma is a pretty Australian Shepherd Dog. She had just turned 15 months old on January 18,1999. Schwannoma began having seizures when she was 8 months old, and was treated with phenobarbital to control them. She was the center of the universe in her home, where she lived with 3 teenagers, a variety of chickens and ducks and Abby the cat. She was spoiled rotten by her Mom, our friend Cindy, but always well behaved for her Dad!

Schwannoma was returned to the Creator on January 24, 1999. She was sent on wings of love to the Rainbow Bridge, where she is happy and whole again. She waits there with joy in her heart until she is re-united with her family.

"Grieve not
nor speak of me with tears
But laugh and talk of me
as if I were beside you.
I loved you so.......
'twas Heaven here with you."

poem by Isla Paschal Richardson

"See!
I will not forget you.......
I have carved you on the palm of my hand."

Isaiah 49:15

"Death is nothing at all. I have only slipped away into the next room. I am I, and you are you: whatever we were to each other, that we are still. Call me by my old familiar name, speak to me in the easy way which you always used. Put no difference into your tone; wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow. Laugh as we always laughed at the little jokes we enjoyed together. Play, smile, think of me, pray for me. Let my name be ever the household word that it always was. Let it be spoken without effort, without the ghost of a shadow on it. Life means all that it ever meant. It is the same that it ever was; there is absolutely unbroken continuity. What is this death but a gateway? I am but waiting for you, for an interval, somewhere very near just around the corner. All is well......"
