backwards frenzy
Backwards Frenzy with Kismi and Kalionth
The hatching went on throug the D's, with little to no problems. D'layls chose two dragonets, gold Kysksth from Caeith's clutch and male lavender Myuezhnlth. Dalin also chose two; green Ehoth and night white Keonluth. Turquoise-green Haith met her Danica, as did green with black Veuijemth and Daphea. Darosan, with a wink up at his family in the Stands, picked out a night brown from Alaodeth's clutch. Funny little Darsill bypassed all the rares to picked a little green from Flynnth's clutch. Dasur refused all the dragonets all together when Demawdar snatched out white-storm Eshedth from under his nose. Desur, an obvious relation somehow, was chattering happily to blue-black-gold Ength. And Diabykor, Docatu, and Docyteo all went off bondless after a signal from Dasur. Diryn coaxed out silver winter Juvjaruth, who pranced about so everyone could see her. Dulchor also chose two, nipping in to pick out his silver-blue from Kalionth's clutch, and doubling back to accept Owlith, blue-black Owlith, from Niateiyass.

"There's none for me," Dymek had murmured sadly before being pounced by an orange and a brown, knocking him to the sand. Another one of Flynnth's many, a blue with white, chose Duran. And Dulivar picked ou Bhath, a blue with black, from Tide Froth's clutch. Dynkal was the last of the D's to choose; a little Alskyrian green was his final decision.

The E's grew impatient when Hadassah failed to call their names right away, and stormed out as a group. The hatchlings sensed the impatience of both them and the crowd, and stepped out to meet their riders, which definately hadn't been expected. Lith chose Edasich, who was overjoyed with the blue with brown. Edemais greeted the rose Himaeth, protesting to Edessvi and Eida that Himaeth _was_ a guy. Edessvi and Eida rolled their eyes and chose their own three; Edessvi only white Vlytlrth and Eida green with bronze Bethth and yellow with blue Shlarth. Edesteo murmured comforting words to Edemias while choosing brown Vooxkith. Elalle shyly hugged blue Jhaazhijth, one of the Alskyrian dragons with the opposite gender, and siamese black-green Byizmaeth in circle three, even though they had hatched in circle two and circle four respectively.

"Elfa, there's no one for us here. Right, Elenre?" Elasida said comfortingly to the other two girls, hooking their arms together and walking off. Elemurt snorted as they gave up so easily, and clung to her night aquamarine Meishath. "Never let you go."

Elizaveta's marbled white silver Nunkisoith caused a stur. With the lights shining, most, if not all, agreed she was gorgeous. Black-orange Yzhneth complained to Emiro about all the attention Nunkisoith was getting, while Eriniss tumbled around with a green from Avianth's clutch. Evgelex clucked her tongue at the other three "E" candidates who couldn't find Bonds, but stopped when a green rammed her legs, distracting her. Evander and brown with sunset Morsuneith were more sympathetic; they walked together a short way, Ethga, Ethvinn, Eusi, and Evander. Eusu smirked as blue Tunxrath fawned on him, almost purring with happiest. The Weyrhold went silent as Errie hesitated.

"Ebiaxth. Come out, Ebi... you're pretty.. really!" With delicate features, the teal-ish dragonet looked up coquettishly. "She's just like candy floss.. pretty, right?" Errie demanded of Errapel and Errai, who nodded, their night brown and red offering congratulations as well. Erinwetha was still wandering the Sands when the spell kicked in again, and started to blurt out names.

"Fadroz! Fedoxi! Felli! Fyren!" Faevara, Fayhild, Fayura, Fend, Feogussh,Feonooer, and Feyaya scowled. Their names were not called, and never would be. Fadroz was enamored with his sky with brown Oltoth, and his family was as well; their cheering drowned out the mild clapping for both Fedoxi and her green and Felli's green-blue Nurelerth. Fyren shook his head and quietly, silently, invisibly led cream Tsizhmyuth off the sands.

"Down to the G's already," remarked Arelii happily from his position next to Shy, who was unnerving him greatly.

"Gal-iana!" Galiana didn't hesitate; she walked straight towards a blue, leaned down to whisper something. Moivth nodded and spread his wings, showing bright orange wingsails. Galion didn't wait for his name; he jogged out to dark brown Nihyvth, who was sulking over all the attention Moivth was getting for his "trick."

"Gardava!" Ganus accepted his defeat easily as Gardava walked through to circle three, choosing a dragonet the color of the sky that arced overhead - a clear blue.

"Garunt! Gellel! Go away, Gedi!" Gedi did as he was told, and Alianora winced as stares were directed her way. Garunt smoothed over the moment by choosing an amber with gold gold. "It's okay, my lady. You have ambers a'plenty now!" Whether this was to Kalionth or Alianora or even Akyoth and Shayniie is still uncertain. Gellel's cream Moiyyith went largely unnoticed.

"Go on out, Gelme. And you, Genen. Make us proud, Gienoh!" cried the voice perkily, and the three boys did, throwing questioning glances at each other. Gelme found his cream-white easily, as did Gienoh and his night green Hoth. Genen glared as Erinwetha headed towards his dragon, finally understanding Kismi's outbreak.

"Vusu's mine!" he called, striding to meet the blue-white before Erinwetha. Erin' glared and stomped off, exiting the Sands entirely.

"Giselle, Glali, Goderiq." Glisin and Gmaorru nodded in answer to their defeat, and the next three G's tromped off to meet their bonds. Giselle's white had the grace of a dancer, while Goderiq was pounced on by a black-teal from Tide Froth's clutch in the third circle. Glali's choice was an oddly colored purple-and-yellow dragonet; he gave a laugh.

"Rinerneith, meet the world. The world, energy Rinerneith!"

"Gyneth!" Goopo and Gweneya stepped back to allow Gyneth to pass. One of the five or so dragons who had hatched a few days ago in the Weyr, they had been brought over to try and find human bonds in the myriad of Candidates in the Weyrhold, but had asked to stand in the Frenzy instead. Gyneth chose a black-yellow Dhihoigth

"Are you ready? HalanoHanaHarjiHesiodHoirin!" The H's blinked, and repeated the words within themselves before deciding on who the voice had called. Halano, Hana, Harji, Hentar, and Hilin stepped out, leaving Halin, Halint, Hamnael, Heoysh, Hers, Hesiod, and Hoirin behind. Halano found black-pink Hsyihuth easliy (Aeronath gave a bugle; another male, possibly, with pink!) Hana cuddled blue-white-teal Leiezhigth protectively, and Harji stared in awe at night gold Leiezhigth. When Henter went up to a dark blue, the blue went mad, trying to attack. Hesiod darted out.

"Stop that, Xentitunth! I'll need to teach you manners, I see!" Hilin raised an eyebrow.

"Hoirin, come here," he ordered. "He's calling her you." Hoirin looked at where Hilin was pointing; a little white playing happily with Flynnth's tail.

"Stupid," Hoirin murmured fondly, trotting out to claim the white.

"Iaraert! Ihamil! Ihintza! Ilmaell! Imest! Ioa! Iotar! Isaura! Itamar! Aaaaaand Iyor! STEP IT UP!" Iyor sniffed, tossed her head.

"They're all so.. crass," she muttered in frustration. Not quite watching where she was going, she nearly ran over a bronze. "I see. Well. Now you're mine," she murmured, licking her lips. "We'll have.. fun together." Isaura had hung back to laugh at the I's who hadn't been called - Isetnatkis, Inghiw, and Ilalle - but her head twisted.

"Don't you dare!" she screeched, pushing past Iyor to the teal-white-blue Iyor was coaxing towards her. "Mineminemineminemine!" Itamar glanced up from where he was making friends with a copper-sunset to shake his head.

"Girls," he said disdainfully, and Morleeoth nodded. Ioa scowled from her position in circle two with a gold.

"Shut it, Itamar!"

"She's right, you know," Imest agreed, stroking a cream's head possessively. "This is fun. Let's try again, eh?" he asked the cream, who nodded excitedly.

"Isaura's stupid," Ihintza assured those left behind. "Right Evthath?" the green nodded, and Ihamil's green Maohsth made the same motion.

"Come with us," Ihamil soothed. "It'll be okay."

"All the I's gone? Then Jai, Jamonth, Jamordo, Jensy, Jesin, Jesuro, Jeyunn, and... Julian come on out!"

Julian sneered up at the magic users. He was an experienced Candidate.. and this was _wrong_ the way they were doing it. Still.. he looked around, eyes falling on a black dragon..

Black sun, corrected a soft, dark voice in his head. It resounded with the same sort of evil Iyor's voice held, but darker.

"Joaquel!" squeaked the voice, and Joaquel dashed out gratefully, running for vanilla Jiuefath. ("More ice cream!" squealed the Lantessama delegate)

"That's how many mistakes?" queried Jeyunn to her sunglow Linoth. "A lot, that's my guess."

"Rather stupid of you to say so," Jesuro shot back, scowling, from his post next to a tickle-me-pink dragon with red.

"Are you sure that's a _male_ dragon you have there, Jes'?" Jesin called back. Jeyunn smiled at Jesin, and Jesuro nodded.

"Zheth's as male as Maehuth," he said proudly, nodding at Jesin siamese-brown black. Jensy looked up worridly from Xinsuneith.

"No fighting," she murmured to the green. Jamonth looked up as she led a green and a black off the sands.

Don't worry. Jai and Jamordo and I would break it up. Jai with a silver-amber and Jamordo with a bronze with cream he introduced as Yzhfith had been trailing Jamonth. Jensy joined the little train.

"Kaejai. Kaejai. Kalayam. Kales. Kanen. kasib. Kayona. Keesha. Kelida. Kenina. Kerux. Kesseru - no, Kienegelle. Kirste. Kocosia. Kolenka. Ksathra. Kufur. Kya." Kerux stood up (wrote Okkiho, scribbling madly) at the sound of his name.

"Me?" he mouthed. Calliste shrugged.

"Kismi did," she murmured, pushing him off. He stumbled into Kytali, who had been sitting in the audience.

"Ocoth!" she cried, waving at a little green who had been sniffing at Kya and Ksathra. The green sat down to wait for Kytali while Kya gave a nod and dragged Ksathra further in. Kya broke off at the request of a little black, kneeling in the sands to hug the black. Ksathra moved all the way in to the first circle, grinning at Akyoth as she went straight to Kalionth's clutch for a copper. Kocosia tugged at Kolenka's sleeve.

"Those ours?" she asked, pointing at a green and a blue in circle two. "The blue's from Caeith, and they're looking at us.."

"Let's go see," Kolenka suggested, eyes fixed on the blue. Blue Suiryrorhoyvth was overjoyed to meet Kolenka, and Kocosia latched onto the green, whose named, Kocosia announced, was Diylipieth. Kirste snorted under her breath, leaning against a marbled and striped green with blue and white.

"All slow," she complained, watching the rest of K's that had been called explore.

"Shush, Kirste. I was back with them," Kienegelle scolded, gesturing back at where Kysil, Krusi, Kiwersa, Kingentt, Kine, Keawen, Kesseru, Kalersab, Kath, Kazene, and Kerr stood. "Kath's heart-broken; a dragon and being chosen to Impress?! Cuyzjonth's with her now." A small white with blue siamese markings was indeed with the other dragonet, and Kirste shrugged.

"We do have reasons," Kelida added softly, hugging an orange to her. "Lhyanpith, this is Kirste and Kiengelle. And that's Keesha!" Keesha was bending over a green, studying a curious splotch of paler green on the wingsails. Kayona was laughing at Keesha, green with black Nenahueth prancing about, pretending she had curious splotches over her as well.

"And I'm Kasib!" Kasib called amiably as he led a bronze from Alaodeth's clutches off the sands.

"Was Kasib," Kanen corrected gently, arm wrapped around a second-circle green with white. "Murlanoth.."

"And Kales!" squealed Kaejai, who had two dragonets tagging after her - a silver and a green. Kales was following after her, weaving his way out of the second circle with an Alskyrian male gold in front of him. Kalayam was playing with a white still in first circle. At the voice's boom to call the K's off the sands, she and the dragoness moved quickly to catch up with the other "lettermates."
