Andy Garcia at AT&T Golf 2000. Here is the story coming with the picture:" The girl in the picture is Sylvia. She is a friend of Jackie who also was in this shot. But I had to crop her off (Jackie is the girl who was with Andy in one of the pictures below).

The reason for that is because just as I was snapping the picture, Andy talked to Jackie and joked "haven't we done this before." Jackie turned her head as I was taking the picture and the expression on her face was one of joy and embarassment. Jackie was thrilled that Andy recognized her from the last time she had her picture taken with her (see the picture below). At the same time, she was sort of embarrassed that he did remember her. (Although later, Jackie was more thrilled).

But to make this story short, the expression on Jackie's face was pretty funny. It was one of pure shock. She said she ruin the shot, but not really. But she did threaten to severely hurt me if I did send you that picture with her in. That's why on the picture, Andy is off to the side instead of the middle. If I ever get permission, I try to send the whole picture to you.

But tell the members in the fan club that if they ever get the chance to see Andy in a celebrity golf tournament, they should try and attend. Andy is probably one of the best celebrities that interacts with the crowd. He is really friendly and approachable. At the end of the rounds, he usually makes an extra effort to sign autographs and have his picture taken with all the people that ask. A lot of the regulars have said Andy is one of the most likeable celebrities that play in the tournament. He takes his game seriously but will have also have fun when he can.

Here are some pictures from the AT&T Tournament 1997 at Pebble Beach. Two years ago, Andy Garcia and his pro partner Paul Stankowski won the pro-am tournament with the best team score.
