TromVSpacer is not supported anymore. This is firstly because the version 2 of Trommler includes stereo panning, making a good part of TromVSpacer obsolete, and secondly to the start of my new project USBICEL, which will allow to do exactly the same thing than TromVSpacer (among many other things...).

Fonctions

TromVSpacer is an nterface between the excellent rythm machine Trommler and the VSpace language. It allows to add stereo panning and a global reverberation on the whole mix to a Trommler song.

NB: the version 2 of Trommler allows to directly add stereo to a song, which makes half the functions of TromVSpacer obsolete... TromVSpacer will not work on Trommler V2 song files.

For Trommler v1 files, TromVSpacer's interface allows to define stereo panning for each sample, global "virtual room" characteristics for VSpace's reverb, and finally to generate the VSpace script that'll produce the fnal wav file.

Please note:

TromVSpacer uses the TkExtensions and Trommler for Python packages. Dowload them first and uncompress them somewhere in your PYTHONPATH.
TromVSpacer also needs a sound conversion utility from raw samples (as used by Trommler) to wav files (used by VSpace). This utility should be named "smp2wav" and be somewhere in your PATH. If you don't have one and don't know how to make one, you may download the gzipped shell script smp2wav.gz. This script uses sox to do the conversion.
Of course, you'll also need Trommler and VSpace. Please note that even if VSpace is free software, it is not open source and there's a copyright on it...
