Proud Tunesmith member.

To anyone from the boards, I owe everything to you guys. You've helped me grow so much in my song writing, I don't know where I'd be without you all. You've been such a blessing, and if I can ever help any one of you in any way, just give me a hollar!

"When you must dream, dream the impossible, call it improbable, then strive to make that dream a reality"

Wastin' Whiskey

When I met you I found something
I never knew before
I found I had a reason to live
But that don’t exist no more

Sometimes I sit around and wonder
why I gave in at the first touch
why I even bothered
to fall in love

So I pour the bottle into my soul
And try to douse the flame
But it just grows stronger with each shot
Along with the pain
That gold aged potion, mixes with raw emotion
And burns a hole in me
I can’t drink you away
I’m just wastin’ whiskey

I think about how you used to laugh
I think about the stars in your eyes
But that’s when my heart starts to throb and
I jump into a sixty proof good-bye

So I pour the bottle into my soul
And try to douse the flame
But it just grows stronger with each shot
Along with the pain
That gold aged potion, mixes with raw emotion
And burns a hole in me
I can’t drink you away
I’m just wastin’ whiskey

I try to drink away your innocent smile
and those hot summer nights
to drink away your memories
But I'm losin' this fight

I know I'll think about you again
And I'll reach for a rough southern blend

So I pour the bottle into my soul
And try to douse the flame
But it just grows stronger with each shot
Along with the pain
That gold aged potion, mixes with raw emotion
And burns a hole in me
I can’t drink you away
I’m just wastin’ whiskey

No I can't drink you away
I'm just wastin' whiskey
