KANSAS ENVIROTHON
The Kansas Envirothon is an out-door, environmental high school competition where students learn and are tested on soils, forestry, wildlife, aquatics and a current issue. Each County is allowed to send one team of five high school students to the state competition. The winner of the Kansas Envirothon will represent Kansas at the Canon Envirothon.

The current issue for the 2009 Kansas competition is:
" Biodiversity in a Changing World."

The 2009 Kansas Envirothon state competition will be held Wednesday, May 13, at Southwestern College in Winfield.

The Canon Envirothon competition will be held August 2 - 8, 2009 at Ashville, North Carolina.
