Welcome to our Web site!
Introduction: We are Sharon and Jim and reside in a small rural
town in Southeast Kentucky. We "retired" to Kentucky in June 2000 after
living in Upstate New York all our lives. We have been showing cars since 1986. We
are now the proud owners of a 1986 Buick Grand National. Prior to moving to Kentucky
we had also owned a 1969 Camaro SS 350 and a 1980 Camaro Z28.
We became addicted to
showing cars in the summer of 1986. We were out "cruising" on a Sunday and
came upon a car show. We decided to enter and "show off" our new Grand National.
Needless to say we didn't win anything because our car was brand new but we met some of
the nicest people and saw some of the most beautiful classic cars we had ever seen. From
there we "were hooked". We then added to our "stable" two
Camaros. When we relocated to Kentucky we sold the 69 Camaro SS 350 to Jeff and Pam
Burrer of Illinois and the 80 Z28 Camaro to Ed and Ro of North Carolina.
We would like to give
special thanks and recognition to Pete DeRycke and Phil Kline of Kline Automotive in
Newark, NY for all mechanical work performed on our show cars.
Special thanks also to our
son, Chris of Marysville, WA and Paul Bartlett
of Clifton Springs, NY for the design and technical advise for this web page. Please
visit Paul's Web Site and see
what he has done. Also to Tammy Tresko from
San Francisco, CA who has made numerous changes for us. See Tammy and Wally's homepage. We look forward to continuing our hobby and meeting new friends in our new surroundings.
