9-8-2008  SEASON PREMIERE -  EAR BITTEN OFF AT A PARTY
Corey and Landon were partying hard by a lake. Landon says Corey was acting obnoxious, so the two of them got into a fight. Landon defended himself by biting Corey's ear off! Landon showed no remorse in court. He said that Corey's ear was "fish food." Corey brought him to JJB for all of his medical expenses. No surprise, JJB ruled in favor of Corey, granting him $5,000.

SEASON EIGHT  2005-2006
11-15-2005 $100 PER CUSS WORD
Heidi was suing Peter for money he owed her, but Peter said he paid her in sex!  Peter, the father of 10 kids, said he cheated on his real girlfriend with Heidi and lost a good woman to be with Heidi.  Judge Joe said Peter did not understand about what it's like to be a man.  The judge also polled the audience to see how many people thought Peter was setting a good example for young people.  The entire audience went against him!  All of this made Peter upset, so he vented his anger by swearing numerous times in court.  JJB gave Heidi an extra $100 for every cuss word, but he kept on swearing and yelling at the judge. At the end of the case, Judge Joe gave Heidi the gavel and had her slam it down for a ruling of more than $2,100.

SEASON SEVEN 2004-2005
11-8-2004 OUT OF CONTROL WELFARE QUEEN
Rosa brought her out of control 24-year-old daughter, Brandy, to court because she wanted her $1,000 back that she gave her for rent.  Within minutes, Brandy exploded and started screaming and swearing in court!  She said she was proud to not work and collect money from the government.  Meanwhile, Rosa is taking care of Brany's son, but Brady says she and her lesbian lover, Alesha, are taking care of him.  Brady even claimed that Alesha was the baby's father.  Later on, when Judge Joe referred to Alesha as "manly," she jumped up and lifted her shirt to show the judge she had breasts!  Brandy was so rude that as the judge made his ruling, she leaned up against the podium with her back toward the judge.  Judge Joe got the last laugh because he charged Brandy interest, so she wound up losing more than $2,000.  He also told Rosa that he would giv eher a tape to make sure Brandy would never see her son again.  Things were so wild, that Brandy and Alesha were escorted out by extra security.

SEASON FIVE  2002-2003
5-7-2003   THE SON FROM HELL
Lawrence's parents brought him to court because he owed them over $2,800 for a cell phone bill.  His mom, Bonnie, said that he told them that they were stuck with the bill.  Lawrence said his parents owed him and treated his sister better than him.  Bonnie said Lawrence, 21, used to be a cronic runaway, so much so that her husband had to glue his bedroom window shut!  Lawrence also admitted to a past full of drug use, but said he changed.  Lawrence's dad alleged that his son even brought hookers in their bed and said he once found a used condom in their toilet!  JJB grew angry at Lawrence, calling him a "low-down scumbag."  Lawrence cried as JJB yelled at him, but that did not help because the judge granted his parents $3,500.
4-25-2003   MAN SUES DOMINATRIX
Terry, an older guy, brought Chrystal, a young lady, to the show because he gave her $1,480 for special tickets to a baseball game.  Chrystal said she knew Terry for seven years because he was a client of hers.  She told the judge she was a dominatrix and referred to Terry as a "bitch."  Chrystal admitted she spent his money on something else, not the tickets, so JJB granted Terry his money.  Before he dismissed the case, JJB said to Chrystal, "Don't beat him too badly, now."  Outside, Jacque asked Terry about the "dominating" allegations, but he said they never took place.
10-25-2002   FREAK SHOW
The first case involved a female impersonator named Jermarcus who was being sued for destroying the plaintiff's restaurant.  Joseph said the defendant came in to his restaurant with several of his drag queen friends and fought with each other.  Judge Joe found in favor of Joseph, granting him more money then he asked for in punitive damages...Case number two featured Christopher who brought Jon in front of the judge because Jon sold his motorcycle to another person after Chris already put money down on it.  Jon was a freak with tattooes and blue spiked hair who admitted to being a drunk.  He brought his freaky friend, Kat, to court and claimed that she was his lawyer, although she was a law school drop out.  JJB found in favor of Chris.
9-9-2002 SEASON PREMIERE - DRAMATIC LESBIAN IN DENIAL; MAN RUNS OFF SHOW
Season five of the show began with new graphics and a new theme for the show...The first case involved a woman named Regina, who was angry because April owed her money.  She said that April did not want to pay her because her fellon boyfriend told her not to.  April also accused Regina of wanted to marry her.  Regina began making all kinds of noise and started jumping around to get the judge's attention when she heard that.  She said that she is a "same gender-loving woman," but she did not want April.  Judge Joe lectured April about going out with bad guys and granted Regina the money she requested...The second case featured a young guy named Aaron who brought his friend to court for shooting him the the ankle with a BB gun.  Aaron was a freeloader who took advantage of people by staying in their homes without paying them.  When Judge Joe called him on that, Aaron angrily ran out of the courtroom.  He was granted a little money.

SEASON FOUR  2001-2002
4-22-2002  JUDGE JOE VS. TEEN TROUBLEMAKERS
Ashley, 15, and her 20-year-old boyfriend, Steven, were brought in front of the judge by Ashley's parents because they wanted their money back for a motorcycle that the defendants stole.  Judge Joe came down hard on Ashley and Steven because Ashley was kicked out of the house, on the streets with a child and living with Steven.  Meanwhile, Steven did not go to college and could barely support Ashley and their kid.  Judge Joe never looked so pissed as he did in this case.  He stood up and screamed at the defendants, calling Steven a leech, a buzzard and an anchor that was holding Ashley down.  Judge Joe told Ashley to dump him before he held her back any further.  He screamed at Steven, who said he could never make it because he was from the streets.  Judge Joe said that he was from the streets and he made his life work for him.  In the end, he ruled in favor of the plaintiffs, giving them more then they wanted.

4-8-2002 SUING FOR DRUG MONEY
Dawn just broke up with her ex, so she turned to cocaine.  She brought her ex friend, Shannon, and her ex boyfriend, Buddy, in front of the judge to sue for money they owed her for drugs!  Buddy said he dumped her because she turned to cocaine and did not want anything to do with her.  Judge Joe Brown yelled at Dawn for bringing them to court for drug money.  He asked her if she lost too many brain cells because the court could not be involved with illegal activity.  Needless to say, Judge Joe dismissed her foolish case.
2-7-2002 BURN VICTIM CLAIMS NEIGHBOR HARASSED HIM
Mark was left disfigured and lost his fingers because of a fire.  To make matters worse, he said his new neighbors harassed him because of his looks.  He called the police several time on them because they would blast their TV and radio.  Mark's witness, John, said he heard the defendant's daughter, Stephanie, yelling things like, "I'm a ho, I'm a ho," and heard her mother call Mark a freak...The defendant, Jeanne, said Mark was the one who was guilty of harassment because he videotaped their every move.  Judge Joe said Mark was trying to intimidate them, which was wrong.  Stephanie alleged that she even caught Mark taping little girls in their bathing suits!...Judge Joe ruled against Mark because he violated the defandant's privacy and granted them a total of $2,000.
1-31-2002 TRANSSEXUAL REFUES TO PAY LOAN
Tracy Fox was born male and wanted to get breast implants so she could feel more like a real woman.  Her friend,  Elisangela, and her mother, Maria, lent her money for the surgery.  The plaintiffs claimed that Tracy never paid then back because "her" dirty Web site did not make enough money.  Tracy said that she has been offered many adult TV parts, but has turned them down because she wants to make a reality show about transsexuals.  Tracy's cousin, Melissa,  who was also Elisangela's girlfriend, testified to say that Tracy never paid them the money.  After all the craziness, Judge Joe Brown granted both the plaintiffs their money back.
12-27-2001   PORNS STAR SUES FOR LOANS
Ken wanted to have a friendship with porn star Kendra Jade, so he said he "loaned" her money when she said she was broke.  Kendra Jade said the money was a gift because he wanted to be with her.  He said he just wanted her as a contact.  Kendra Jade said that she always gets money and gifts from her fans and that was what she thought Ken was doing.  Judge Joe told her not to take advantage of guys like that.  He also questioned her revealing court attire.  Brown ruled in favor of Ken, giving him his $1,000 back.

12-3-2001 BOYS WILL BE BOYS
Kathleen brought Delia and her husband, Mike, to court because their sons were harassing her son, Christopher.  The defendants son, Jon, was accused of tossing water balloons and pine cones at the plaintiff and his dog.  One of the pinecones injured the dog's eye and that's why they were before Judge Joe.  Judge Joe said that this was a case of "boys being boys" and that the parents should have settled the dispute themselves.  He made all of the kids stand up, shake hands and apologize to each other.  The judge only gave the plaintiffs some of the money they wanted and made everyone take a trip to the Museum of Tolerance.
11-21-2001   A LOAN GOES OUT OF CONTROL
Dallas was suing Rob, an exotic dancer, for $691 because he said Rob did not pay back a loan to him.  Dallas originally loaned Rob $35 for a radio, but charged him a $4/day late fee!  Rob owed a crazy $691 thanks to the interest!  Judge Joe thought the lawsuit was foolish and a waste of the courts time.  He yelled at Dallas and asked him what was wrong with him.  Judge Joe angilly ruled againt Dallas.

11-20-2001 CRAZY OLD MAN THROWS OUT HIS GUESTS STUFF
Robert, 71, kindly allowed Donna to stay at his place, but she claimed he threw out her stuff after she left.  Robert said he loved black women, but didn't like how Donna would not pay any rent.  After kicking her out, she said he destroyed all her stuff.  He admitted  to some of the damage because her things were infested with vermin and cockroaches.  Robert got all excited whenever Donna lied during the case, and yelled "BULLSHIT" at her several times!  Robert even accused Donna of being a prostitute.  Judge Joe dismissed Donna's case because she could not prove anything.
11-16-2001 THE MISSPELLED TATTOO
Daminn wanted his nickname, "BLAZE" tatooed on his chest.  Instead, Billy tatooed "BLASE" on his chest.  Daminn was suing Darin, the tatoo parlor's owner, for $2,500 in damages.  Darin and Billy said that the tatoo did say "BLAZE," but Daminn showed his chest that said otherwise.  Daminn even accused Billy of not knowing how to read!  Darin argued with the judge, but Judge Joe called him ignorant and told his to get some education.  Judge Joe granted Daminn the money he was owed and said he wished he could have given him more.
11-7-2001 DON'T TALK BACK TO THE JUDGE!
August owns a pet store and brought Lonie in front of Judge Joe Brown because her dog destroyed his gumball machines at his store.  Her dog was illegally tied up to them and ran into the parking lot, dragging the machines behind.  August lost weekly revenue from the machines, which were valued at $300.  Judge Joe asked her how she had the nerve to tie her big dog to August's machine while she shopped around in the nearby stores.  Judge Joe turned away from Lonie and said she did not care about the damage that the dog could do because she wanted to shop.  Lonie told the judge to look her in the eyes in say that.  Big mistake, because Judge Joe turned around and looked right at her, saying she asted foolish and unresponsible.  He then granted August all of the money he was owed PLUS an extra $1,000 because Lonie was so rude and inconsiderate to his property!  August and his co-worker, Sue, clapped at the judgement, as rude Lonie stormed out of the courtroom.
JUDGE JOE'S COMMENTS TO LONIE AFTER HIS RULING: 
Lonie:  "Do I get to say anything?"
JJB:  "Yeah, apologize to yourself for being so rude and crude and inconsiderate of other people and their property!"
10-23-2001  MAN IN DRAG LOSES HIS CLOTHES
Rob and his ski intructing friends attended a strange company party.  All of the guests had to dress as the opposite sex.  Rob wore a blouse and a skirt, while leaving his man clothes in the back of the club the party was held at.  When he returned at the end of the night, he discovered that his clothes were gone.  He had to walk home in drag!  Rob brought the club's manager, Charlie, in front of the judge because he wanted his money back for his lost clothes and personal organizer.  Judge Joe ruled in favor of Rob because Charlie should have been more careful watching people's clothes.
9-10-2001 SEASON PREMIERE -  KIDS VANDALIZE A HOME
Tim and Carol left their expensive home up for sale when they moved to their new place.  Four neighborhood kids thought it would be fun to break into the empty house.  The kids broke in through a window and unleashed chaos inside.  They broke mirrors, put holes in the wall and wrote profanities on the walls.  Judge Joe Brown was upset because none of the kids were punished severely for their actions.  He ordered that the defendants pay $5,000 for the damages, and the co-defendants pay the same amount.

SEASONS ONE - THREE
SIDE SHOW ACTS
During the first season of the show, a bearded woman brought a midget in front of the judge, claiming he abused her.  They used to work at a circus side show together.  The midget said he could not have hurt her because he is too small.
RUNNING FROM THE TRUTH
A guy was being sued by his estranged wife for child support and other expenses.  She threatened to never allow him to see his kids again.  This pissed him off so bad, that he ran from the courtroom.  Court officers and security ran after him and the poor sport lost his case.
TWO-PARTER: LYING ASHLEY
Ashley was a teen girl with a VERY protective father who came on the show to sue her "ex."  Judge Joe asked her when she saw her ex last and she said it was months ago.  Joe said he didn't believe her and got Ashley to confess that she had seen him more recently.  She was just scared to tell her dad because she was afraid of punishment.  After the case, Ashley and her dad spoke with the court reporter and Ashley bitched about what had just happened in the courtroom and told her dad that she hsn't been with her ex in a long time.  She played it out like she was all innocent and her dad actually fell for it!
NOSY NEIGHBOR
Rosemarie took her nextdoor neighbor and his girlfriend to court for some silly reasons.  Her most legitimate claim was that she THOUGHT he ruined her mailbox, but she had no proof.  Rosemarie was also mad because he left a little snow on his car.  She even brought pics of his car with a dusting of snow on it for the judge to see.  Judge Joe said her lawsuit was nonsense and dismissed all claims that she made to the defendant.
THE HOOCHIE EX
Mike and Christina always had a rocky relationship.  Christina became a stripper while they were dating and Mike could not trust her.  Mike finally got fed up when he saw Christina kissing on another girl in a hot tub!  She said it was because she was drunk and they were playing truth-or-dare.  They came to court because Christina got pregnant and the bitch had an abortion.  Mike lent her money for the abortion, but she never paid it back.  Judge Joe dismissed the case because he got her pregnant and should be partly responsible.

    Judge Joe Brown bounced back from the mean streets of Los Angeles to become one of the most respected judges in Memphis, Tennessee.  In fact, he served as a judge there from 1990-2000.  Before hitting it big, he majored in political science at UCLA.  He says he choose an educational road instead of the violent way that many others took.  When he started his show in 1998, he was still an active criminal court judge, but stopped during his second season to concentrate on his show.   Judge Joe is in his ninth season.  In the early years, Judge Joe kept a much more controlled courtroom.  Now, guests are more outrageous than ever.  Former talk show host Rolanda Watts joined the show in 2005 as the announcer.  Also new in 2005, Joe's Jury, where the audience takes part in polls during the show. Bailiff Holly Evans was with the show from the its start in 1998 through 2006. The show welcomed a new bailiff, Sonja Montejano, at the start of season nine.
