The bancas we have to ride to cross the river in going to school. A bridge is now in place connecting Tabuc.

The banana grooves near the riverbank is a favorite dating area for lovers especially after affairs at the park.

Swimming with friends at the river during night time while drinking long neck to counter the cold water.

The cold December dawns while attending the Misa de Gallo.  Pero okay lang kay kauban man pud ang uyab.

Ang libreng painit sa kumbento pagkahuman sa Misa de Gallo sponsored by different civic organizations.

Adtong mga simba sa kadlawon, nagduda ang among katabang ngano nga spoting kaayo ang iyang apo. Iskas-a, iyang gihilom ug sunod sa pagsimba. Mantay kay didto man niya nakit-i nga gaagbay sa iyang uyab sa ilalom sa mangga sa Rizal park. Layo ra kaayo para makadungog sa misa.  Bisan didto pa sa ilalom sa mangga, iya ng pwerteng gikasab-an iyang apo nga pwerteng ulawa sa iyang uyab.

The mansanitas tree near our house is a favorite place where lovers suddenly stop in their stroll because it is dark and hidden from street lights. Some of the girls already expect what will happen when they get there.  Others are obviously caught surprised that they were tricked by their boyfriend in going there. What they don't know is that there were many of us hidden behind the bushes who have become experts in the art of being silent witnesses.

One of the pranks during Christmas season is to stick a firecracker to a lighted cigarette and watch it explode from a distance.  The fun was to see it explode while somebody happens to pass by.  It is also safe from plainclothes policemen who act like secret agents trying to catch people exploding firecrackers.

The elevated base of the flagpole in front of the municipal hall is the favorite place of policemen on duty. One time during the Christmas dawn mass, I secretly left a five-star firecracker connected to a lighted cigarette as a "time-bomb" near them.  They can't point at me as the culprit because many people have to pass by them in going to church.  I secretly watched them from the grotto and can only smile secretly at their reaction when the firecracker exploded especially those who were holding their Armalites at the time of explosion.

I remember my only sweetheart in high school.  We were secret lovers because there were people who could be hurt once our relationship is exposed.  We exchanged love notes via our mutual trusted friend.  Aside from her, another person who knew about this was our instructor.  After class, she would find time to call my girlfriend to discuss somethings but in reality, that would give us time to be together.  We are even happy with the situation of going out of school in groups.  There were only four of us who knew of that relationship.

Our grades then were on the failing level but not too low not to be salvaged.  Since our float theme required native Igorots in G-strings and no one among the guys dared to volunteer, our instructors agreed to give us the passing grade on the condition that we ride on the float in G-strings.  And so we moved to the next year.

Christmas party pot breaking. Dumadaan pa tyo sa likod ng school natin at hindi aatend ng Practical Arts khit puro amorseko ang pantalon basta makapag rent lang ng bold

20 Minutes Before Takeoff

One time, napauban namo ang mga babaye manglantaw ug betamax showing Butterfly ni Pia Zadora.  Igsihanay ming mga lalaki ug pasikdap kung unsa nay nangahitabo sa mga kauban namong babaye.

Ang mission nga gihatag nako sa SCO was to court a tomboyish girl.  Bisan gani ug dili na ko muapil sa training, ipsot pa ko sa pahakanay ug buhok ug whacking basta maninguha ko...

Naa toy quack doctor sa dike nga muopera ug nay mga sakit.  Nakasulod ko ug nakakita sa operasyon, naa gyuy dugo unya tantong duot-duot sa tiyan, naay mangakuha iyang kamot ug tinae o buhok o balahibo...

Ang tangtanganay ug amorseko sa karsones kada human ug training.

Abi dagay sa akong classmate nga dali rang ma-erase tong iyang gigamit nga pentel pen mao iya gisulat sa black board ang pagkatapolan sa among maestra.  Pastilan kay wala man niya na-erase, baling hilak sa among maestra pagkabasa niya sa vandal.

Our dancing sorties in high school.  I'll never forget Tanjay.  It was there that I learned dancing.

Ayaw dyud ug pabuto ug triangle kung gakaon ka ug humba kay sigurado dyud mutapot ang triangle sa imong kumagko.

Kada gawas sa among maestra para muadto sa CR, musimple ug sunod tong usa namong classmate nga lalake...  naa siyay secret nga pwestohan...

Kahinumdum ko adto mamingwit mi didto sa sa suba sa Ilaya dapit sa Taytayan kami nilang Alfonso ug Dante...

Tigpaninda pa to ug yemas si Maribel.  Ag uban pong mga sigaw kay mupalit ug usa pero pisliton ang duha ka yemas, usahay pa gani tulo.  Pero ningkita pa man gihapon si Maribel labi na pagpaniningil na kada Biernes.

Giipon ning Maribel ang mga labels sa gatas sa iyang yemas unya iyang giapil sa raffle.  Sa kadaghan sa iyang naipon, ningdaug siya ug 1st Prize nga cash maong iyang gilibre ang iyang gibaligyang yemas.
