Started my professional career by joining Rupali Polyester Ltd as Trainee Engineer (Chemical) in Feb 2000. Learned about Polyester process and that training especially helped to get in-depth knowledge of chemical engineering basics.
In Aug 2000 joined Attock Refinery Ltd. There i got oppurtunity to learn different aspects of Petroleum Crude Refining.
Learned operation of various Crude Distillation Units (Light, Heavy, Sweet & Sour Crude Units). Worked on DCS system and operated Catalytic Semi Regeneration Reformer Unit. Worked for upgradation, renovation and for safe and smooth operation of Polymer Modified Bitumen (PMB) Plant. Experienced products finishing techniques; inventory control of crudes, products and additive chemicals; pipeline, rail/road dispatch opeartion.
Presently working as Supervisor Bitumen Operations in Qatar Fuel Company in Qatar. Company is also known as "Woqod". It has full facility of manfacturing polymer modified bitumen, emulsions and cutbacks.
