Welcome to the Orion's Palace Website!
Okay, so maybe it's not much of a website. And maybe only half of the links at the top work. And maybe my blues need to be darker, or my whites whiter, or some such thing here and there. And yeah, maybe most sites usually have more in the way of "pages" and "content". Or maybe you're thinking that a good website might not start every sentence with a conjunction. But you get the idea; this is where my main page would be, and there would be some news here, and some links to actual content, which might be there right now if I hadn't spent the last hour wrestling with IE5 and Netscape Navigator, trying to get them to read my CSS the same way.
Holy cow, has it really been almost a year since I've updated this website? D'oh! Oh well, the good news is that I've figured out how to update the webpage again, and made some changes "under the hood" so that I can make minor updates without it costing me more time than I have. Plus I've switched the location back to GeoCities, so hopefully the load time won't be so bad when I want to upload files (that was hugely annoying).
Not much has changed visibly, I've only moved the page, simplified maintenence and made some text edits to fix typos. However, I have added an FAQ, courtesy of the guys at Bravenet.com, which will make it easier for people to ask me questions. Now you can click the FAQ link, and if your question isn't there, just add it! Hopefully, I'll be able to find the answer and post it for all the world to see. Until next time, MOOers!
More big news: Master of Orion stuff is up! Well, sort of. Since the Classic Master of Orion section will consist mostly of pages from the old Orion's Palace site, I'm putting it up first (and most quickly). Drop by and take a look at it, using the link at the top. The Master of Orion II and Master of Magic sections will take longer, because I haven't written them yet. If you have strategies for either game (or more MOO tips), go ahead and send them to me and I'll try to post them.
Big news today; I put this thing up! Ha ha! Maybe next time I'll actually have something useful here. You know, if this were finished I'd probably have something up on the right, like a sidebar of highlights or something. We'll have to see; each thing will come in its own time.
