Japanese Exclusive Transformers
Although the American Transformers series ended, the Japanese series continued on
and with it came the introduction of many new characters. Many of these were
released exclusively for the Japanese market, and are some of the most highly sought
after of all the Transformers.
Japanese Exclusive Gestalts
Gestalts are the series of Transformers that consisted of several smaller robots that
could not only transform into something on their own, but also join to form a larger
robot with the help of their teammates. Several Japanese exclusive gestalts exist, and
although some look cool, many are clunky and pretty sorry when in the giant robot form.
Japanese Exclusive Combiners
Several really cool Japanese combiners exist which combine several smaller bots together
to make one bigger bot. These are different than the gestalts in that the gestalts were
usually 5 or 6 similar size or theme robots combining together, whereas a combiner may be
just two robots that combine to form a bigger robot.
Brazillian Exclusive Transformers
When Transformers were released in Brazil, someone decided that there needed to be more
variety to the current issue of mini cars. Therefore several repainted versions of
many 1st and 2nd series mini cars.
Japanese Transformers
Unlike the hard to find backer cards that came with the car or plane sealed to them in the
U.S. In Japan, each was stored in a piece of styrophome which is much easier to maintain and
allowed you to take it out, and put it back without losing much of the ability to dispaly it.
This is a complete list of each and every Transformer released in Japan including exclusives,
and it has been seperated into several links to allow transfans to find the bot they're
searching for easily.
American Transformers
Here is a listing complete with pictures which makes it easy to identify what parts came with
what and what exactly was released as far as the Transformers line goes. These are considered
to be some of the most sought after regular issue Transformers, and the boxscan section
will help to relive the memories many of us have of our childhood, running into Toys R Us
hoping that you finally can find that Hound or Prowl you've wanted so long but there are
never any left of.
European Exclusive Transformers
Transformers Exclusives weren't limited entirely to Japan or Brazil, several unique transformers
were available only in Europe. There are also some picks available of the European Gold
series boxes included as well.
Bilingual Box Art
Transformers were often issued in near identical boxes to their American version, but
had either: Another language and no English on them on them, or an additional language such as French
in addition to English on the(i.e. Canadian Boxes) boxes as well. Here you'll find pics of what each
type of box looked like in the different countries.
My Want Page!
I'm currently looking to buy many of the Japanese Exclusive Transformers as well as American
issue Transformers as well. I'll pay top (non-ebay) dollar for each of these, and if you have something
you think I may be interested in, just send an email. I'm always buying! Eventually, I'll
put up a trade or sale page, where I'll include my bots, as well as a place where others can
list their sales and trades for free.

Think you have the best looking bot around? Think your Razorclaw is just that much better
than your neighbors? If so, send me a pick. If it's better than what I have, or if I don't
have it, I'll include it in my galleries of pics, and in return I will put: In the Collection
of *name* or, I will even put your name on the image itself if you don't want others taking
it. So in other words, your bot will go down in my book as being the best looking bot
around!
