It is actually illegal to have a ROM without having the original cartridge, you are actually permitted to have them as a backup or use them for 24 hours, then delete them.  The majority of what is on offer probably has the status of or forgotten and discarded by the industry, but not by us! I don't honestly think it will matter for us to freely indulge in such games now, as Sega releases its Dreamcast and Nintendo plans a sequel to the 64.

Some of these files may take a while to download, depending on Internet conditions, however we have
tried to give you a rough idea of how long a wait you will have to endure. If you have a 56K modem it will be twice as quick, but we will print 28K times as well. 56K times are in this colour, 28K in this colour. Help With Download

Super Nintendo
Emulator: ZSNES 308 KB, 2 min, 3 min
The Legend Of Zelda
Click Here To Download The Legend Of Zelda
691 KB, 3½ min, 7 min
Simply the best RPG available to the SNES, the 3rd in the series that really outdid itself with this one.
The storyline of good vs evil is simple and doesn't explain itself, this game just is.
Super Mario World
340 KB, 2 min, 3 min
This wonderfully addictive fairytale themed game seems better
than ever in its entry on the SNES
 Super Mario All Stars
960 KB, 5 min, 9 min
Comprises all 3 earlier Mario titles on the NES
with improved graphics, plus a
more challenging version of Mario 1 known as The Lost Levels.
 Final Fantasy III
2.2 MB, 11 min, 20 min
Those who entered into the Final Fantasy Phenomenon with Final Fantasy VII
will enjoy this prequel. Though the storyline is historically different, and a the 3d world
is impossible to convey as brilliantly as on VII, the music is just as atmospheric and the game is
almost as thorugh.
 Final Fantasy II
658 KB, 3 min, 6 min
Prequel to III, here's your chance to try out the second one.
Final Fantasy V
1.47 MB, 7 min, 14 min
Here's one closer to the classic VII.

Sega Mega Drive
Emulator : Genecyst 425 KB, 2 min, 4 min
 Sonic 2
Click Here To Download Sonic 2
751 KB, 4 min, 7 min
At the time this was the best-selling video game of all-time, yet ironically many rate it not as Sonic's best.
This offers a rolllercoaster ride through a hotchpotch of 11 levels, comprised of only 2 acts.
However the game features some of the most creative music and beatifully-rendered levels of the Sonic series,
whichever way you look at it this is part of video-game history, see the 2d alternative to Dreamcast's Sonic Adventure.
 Sonic 1
382 KB, 2 min, 4 min
Title hit for the Mega Drive, though later blue hedgehog offerings are more impressive. Easily
the easiest Sonic, with a very debatable last boss!
 Sonic 3
1.3 MB, 6 min, 12 min
This third adventure seems like the biggest yet, the levels are more elaborate than they have ever been,
there is so much more detail and you now have to fight a boss in every level.
The proliferation of bonus and special stages themselves make
this game a must!
Alex Kidd In The Enchanted Castle
161 KB, 46 sec, 2 min
Formulaic, almost satirical platform gaming, however it's always a lot of fun
 Taz-Mania
354 KB, 2 min, 4 min
Quite an engaging platformer, one of the better video-game transitions, though fiddly
to control.
 Cannon Fodder
586 KB, 3 min, 6 min
A strategic army title.

Game Boy
Emulator: SMYGB 41 KB, 12 sec, 30 sec
 The Legend Of Zelda
Click Here To Download Zelda Color
489 KB, 2 min, 5 min
Voted as game of all-time by more than one person, and yet it's in black&white and played
on a system designed to fit into your hand. Which proves that games can sometimes be about more than graphics and
special effects. This is the king of lateral thinking, and it'll probably take over a year to complete. Another entry into the
classic RPG series takes you on a mission to save another princess hidden under a myriad of dungeons and keys. If you've
never played this before, get this one. With the emulator above even if you have played it before now's the chance
to play it in colour.
 Super Mario Land
37 KB,10 sec, 21 sec
Another hit instantly associated with the Game Boy, with a tune catchier than all the Mario games that have gone before.
Black & White

ChooseRedor Blueversion
Both versions: 375 KB, 2 min, 3½ min
Gotta catch 'em all, now at long last you can catch them here too,
but not them all if you want more versions ,then you had better
check out Greg's Emulation ,he is better equipped for all your
Pokémon wants.
Beetlejuice
77 KB, 22 sec, 45 sec
Put up just in time for Halloween, this is actually quite an amusing game, and has a believable scenario for
the Beetlejuice stable. Beetlejuice has to clear a load of rogue ghostly unwanted houseguests from Lydia's house.
Try it, it's actually quite fun!
 Final Fantasy Legends (2)
175 KB, 50 sec, 2 min
Pocket the pocket version of the series!
 The Addams Family
97 KB, 27 sec, 1 min
Another treat for Halloween, only this one's not so good.

Sega Master System
Emulator: MASSAGE 244 KB, 1 min, 3 min
Alex Kidd In Miracle World
159 KB, 45 sec, 2 min
Compulsive eagle-dodging platform fun! It's got a shop where you can buy things!
 Sonic The Hedgehog
145 KB, 41 sec, 1½ min
This is the original one, all the others seem to be based upon it. This was the invention of a brilliant concept, you progress your way
through the platfrom levels to reach the base of Dr Robotnik! There are some excellent levels in this game, such as the Bridge level and the Jungle level, Labyrinth was invented here too. It seems like a classic game, for the choice and style of levels ,which can come off as
quite cheap and nasty in other Sonic titles. It is quite formidable too, especially since you can't save. You won't do the boss on
your first go either, not like Sonic 1 For the Mega Drive. Get it to see a bit of Video-Game history, and if
you're not a Sonic fan, get it to become one!

Emulator: Nesticle
 Mario 3
Click Here To Download Mario 3
223 KB, 1 min, 2 min
I love this game!, its an unbeatable fairytale RPG, in which you progress through 8 very diffferently themed worlds.
In each one there are levels, castles to be obliterated and enemies who stand in your way. The World Map
interface of this game is classic and adds to the fun in such a way that Mario 1 or 2 could
never achieve, If you get to world 8 where there are multiple castles and rock-hard fortresses
be glad of the emulators' save state function, becuase you couldn't even save,
you had to play right through in this game on the original N E S. This game is also
available for the SNES up there as one of The "all stars", I highly reccomend that.
 Mario 1
31 KB, 8 sec, 20 sec
You have to hand it to them, this is one of the most addictive games out there. And for all its simplicity
it's actually quite challenging, especially when dodging those hammer-throwing dudes. And then you get told she's in another castle.
Well in this game there are 8 of them in fact, get it and see if you can find the cheat, it's a steal at less than 40 KB.
 Zelda 1
64 KB, 20 sec, 40 sec
The original Zelda!
 Mario 2
76 KB, 21 sec, 45 sec
Grab the catchy sequel where you can play as the princess, but despite a great opening theme, but listen to one
of the worst boss themes ever!
 Zelda 2
87 KB, 25 sec, 50 sec
They tried to make a platformer!
 Final Fantasy I
145 KB, 41 sec, 1½ min
The first one!
Do you still want more ROMS, then try links to these sites with megalomaniac hosting capacity
 Plasticman's Emulation Zone
Has hundreds upon hundreds, there does not seem
to be a single SNES or Genesis (Mega Drive) ROM
they can't help you with.

 N64 STUD
This also has an amazing range, but additionally
this site features Master System ROMS

 EMUX
This seems to have the biggest archive yet, try this if you feel all is lost!

 Greg's Emulation
Very good emulation coverage, he is obviously a big Zelda and Final Fantasy VII fan,
visit this site for the background music and artwork alone.
