| I just finished my freshman year at MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology....or....Michigan Institute of Trucking, Made in Taiwan, Masochistic Institute of Torture, whatever....=P). Yeah it's super hard -- but that's partly because everyone's the same -- there are no literature/history/polysci people -- gets to be kind of boring. Freshman year at MIT is pass/no record (because they don't want us to kill ourselves just yet =) ), so it gives us more time to do things besides school work -- but it's hard enough to pass as it is. I'm a sister in the Theta Lambda chapter of Sigma Kappa. I love my sisters with all of my heart and we have a gorgeous house in Boston on Commonwealth Avenue. Maybe I'll live there senior year, but I might never make it to classes on time if I do since it's all the way across the Harvard Bridge. |

| My winter vacation to Taiwan was super super fun =) I kept meeting weird people (flight attendants who kept talking to me, pretty much) and really famous, high-powered people (through my family). I had so much hanging out with Mingfen, Yifen, and Hsiaofen (the 3 daughters of an ex-Senator and the current head of Taiwan's governmental prosecution team). Tamshui was my favorite place, but I realized how pretty Taiwan really is -- I wish I could be back there right now =) boo for work -- yay for vacation =) |
