To call Elvis Presley a cultural icon is to shortchange him , He was the cultural icon.
Twenty three years after his untimely death on August 16 1977 , Elvis is not only inextricable from so much that surrounds us , but his unprecedented level of achievement is still the benchmark by which artistic success is measured.
From a very early age i have been transfixed by the almighty power of the voice known simply to millions as ELVIS.
The life of Elvis was filled with happiness, joy, success and fulfillment but of course also sadness.
Within the next few pages i will try to bring out only the best in this great and very talented performer.
