He IS Alive-And these Stories Prove it!

Elvis breaks leg in motorcycle crash!*

RECOVERING NICELY: Elvis broke his leg in 1992 but he walks without a limp today. *

The biggest story in show business history -- the alleged death of Elvis Presley -- almost became a heartbreaking reality -- when The King slammed his motorcycle into a tree!

But the Good Lord was watching over Elvis. Though witnesses said his bike was turned into a mass of bent and twisted steel in the 1992 accident, the legendary rock star suffered only a broken leg.

Elvis made a rapid and complete recovery, but the Nashville accident is a chilling reinder that he is, after all, only human and that one silly mistake could be the tragedy that snatches him from our lives forever.

The King marries Mississippi waitress! *

Elvis celebrated what may have been the happiest day of his life when he married Mississippi waitress Karen Crane in a simple but elegant ceremony on July 27, 1992 -- almost 15 years to the day after he went into hiding in 1977.

HAPPY DAY: Elvis poses with his bride Karen Crane after their wedding.*

A surprisingly formal wedding photograph shows Presley and his 30-year-old bride mugging for a camera. A source close to The King released the photo along with this brief statement from Elvis himself: "If I had met this lady way back when, I would still be 'alive' and singing today."

"From what I understand the ceremony was short but quite elegant," said William Stern, who has investigated over 2,000 Elvis sightings since 1977.

"It was conducted in a small church with fewer than 15 guests including a Baptist minister who has been extremely close to Elvis for the past two years. I'm told Elvis and his new bride met when he visited the diner she worked in.

"Elvis was apparently smitten from the moment he laid eyes on her. And while I suspect that the wedding took place in Mississippi, my source refused to confirm the location."

Where Elvis and his bride are living remains a mystery, said Stern, adding: "I wish them luck and happiness, wherever they are."
