The band went through a frustrating 2004 with members coming and going while rehearsing and writing new original material with the intention of gigging and recording and EP.

In late 2004, Graeme & Fran changed the name of the band to eleven86 and in early 2005 moved from Sydney to Wollongong, since that time we have successfully recorded a 5 track EP entitlled 'transition'. We are currently finalising our lineup ready to get on the road and take our music to the people. Happily for eleven86, we received news in June 2005 that one of the tracks on 'transition', called 'spellbound' has made the Top 10 on the Broadjam U.S. independent charts! To date, 'spellbound' has spent 5 consecutive weeks in the Broadjam Top 10, clearly this song is being well received by U.S. listeners. At the time of writing (July 2005) a follow up song off the EP called 'struggle to survive' is being rele3ased on the Broadjam site. The EP is being sent to both major and independent record labels in an effort to get eleven86 signed to a record deal.

MUSICAL BACKGROUND

Graeme has spent 10 years honing his craft, at times just jamming with musician friends, at other time playing in various bands, playing local gigs, playing live on a weekly basis to an audience of up to 500 people, and has developed his own unique style influenced by all the greats of rock music, amongst them Eric Clapton, Pink Floyd, Mark Knopfler, David Bowie, Elton John, Billy Joel, Split Enz, Crowded House, Cold Chisel, Ian Moss, amongst many other great Aussie acts, resulting in a well rounded, fluent melodic style of rock with exceptional lyrical content resulting from real life experiences picked up along the way.
