I am a ElectroWoman and DynaGirl fanatic. But why?
The first time I saw Electra Woman and Dyna Girl was when I was about 10 years old on Saturday morning TV at a girlfriend’s house. It was a complete accident. I didn’t know such creatures of skin tight costumed beauty existed. We were horsing around, decided to flip on the box, and there they were, EW and DG pursuing the Pharoah inside an abandoned theatre. My eyes were riveted on the luscious legs of the heroines in tights, and their complimenting colored leotards. And they had capes, gloves and belts, too! I’d been fascinated by the kinky costumed entrapments of Batman and Robin for a number of years. Seeing a female, newer version of the Dynamic Duo, imprinted my imagination. Who were they? When could I see more of them? We didn’t have cable at our house, so it was my one and only opportunity to view these heavenly creatures. I loved the way they interacted while pursuing the vile fiend and suddenly -- dream of all dreams -- they were sprayed with mummy gas and made helpless!! The Pharoah and his fiendish queen laughed hideously at the dancewear heroine’s plight and then there was a commercial break. Alas -- my girlfriend was not smitten by DG and EW as I was and wanted to turn off the TV. My heart sunk and I was never to lay my eyes on the heroines for many, many years. That was when I stumbled on the Encylopedia of Superheroes in a public library that had a photo still of Electra Woman and Dyna Girl along with a detailed and accurate description of the tights and leotards they wore. I photocopied it and believe I still possess the image and encyclopedic entry to this day. For years, I fantasized about the duo in tights but never had the opportunity to witness their full fledged beauty in the actual television show. What to do? DynaHunk is the sollution.
