the following quote, taken from "Human Events" (America's oldest and
most respected conservative newsweekly), Feb. 11, 2000 issue, page 28:
"At a January 29 town meeting in Lebanon, N.H, Gore said, ... 'I wrote
in my book Earth In The Balance that we should set as a strategic goal
the phasing out of the internal combustion engine over a 25-year
period. I accept now that was a mistake. Twenty-five years is far
too LONG for a goal like that.'" !!!
