Electric Blues Top 100 Horror Films of All Time!
"You gotta do the safe picture, THEN you do the art picture. AND THEN, sometimes, you gotta do the payback picture 'cause your friend says you owe him"
Okay, so the IMBD (Internet Movie Database) beat me to this, but it's still a good idea, so I'm running with it. Below is a list of MY choices for top 100 horror films of all time. This list was not compiled by a group of film experts, through popular poll or any other process making it remotely scientific or significant in any away, shape, form or fashio. This list was only ompiled from the films I have seen and my OWN opinion on which were the best 100, and in which order they come.

The criteria I used for judgement was quite simple. Did these films stick with me? Were they disturbing? Were they well written? Well acted? Original? Was there ANYTHING about them that stuck out? The difference between this list and most others you will find is that I own most all of these films, I love every single one of these films and I didn't use any database or other system to compile the list. I just sat and thought about the horror movies I remembered, wrote them all down, and then graded them in my own way. After ruling out anything that was made for TV, this is the list I came up with.

So enjoy the list, for what it's worth. Where applicable, the title of the film will serve as a link to IMDB where you can find out more about the films, who was in them, and whether or not you want to see them.

Dawn of the Dead
Well, there you have it, the list in its entirety. Of course, the hardest part was narrowing it dow to 100 choices, then from there selecting which ones I thought were best. I would love to have had the time or the space to explain all of 100 of my picks and perhaps I'll get around to doing full reviews of each one of these films. Please just check out the film descriptions provided through IMDB (where applicable). I admit many of the plot summaries listed there really do not do these films justice. Still, if you haven't seen these movies, give them a shot. You might actually enjoy them.
