Synergold Tempest in a Teapot

Our next GOLDEN RETRIEVER was obtained in 1989 from Synergold kennels.
This is "Calla" our foundation bitch for our breeding program. Calla entered
the Agility scene at the young age of 8 1/2 years young. She got HOOKED.
Her agility title count is now up to 21 in addition she has completed
requirements for two outstanding performance awards in North
American Dog Agility Club (NADAC). She also competed in the
NADAC Nationals in Sept 1998 against some steep
competition from around the Country.

She is a wonderful pet, show dog, competition dog, mother, grandmother and
now great-grandmother. Calla finished both her Excellent titles summer of
2000. Calla retired from agility the summer of 2002, after she suffered an
"old dog vestibular" episode and it left her with a balance problem. Calla
celebrated her 15th birthday Oct 14, 2004. This was to be her
last. Calla went to the rainbow bridge April 25, 2005. She is
always in our hearts and thoughts.We were very fortunate
to have Calla in our lives and we thank her for everything

Laine is the first GOLDEN RETRIEVER puppy we kept, from Calla's second litter.
She is out of strong lines of Synergold, Pebwin, Goldwing and Gold-Rush. Laine
is a joy to have around, cuddled at your feet or pretending to be the guard dog
of the house, but never really getting too serious, she would prefer the
intruder pet her first. Laine finished her AKC Excellent Standard Title
and her Open Jumpers Title. In NADAC, Laine obtained her Veterans
open title. She decided she wasn't quite done and entered the AKC
ring once again and finished her Preferred Novice Standard and
Jumpers titles in 3 straight trials and always in the ribbons.

Laine has now retired to her favorite position of Best Cuddler. She is the best
friend to her daughter Carlee. She finds time to play with Carlee, chase the
tennis ball, and eat my home-cooked dog treats. Even though Laine
doesn't have the energy she once did, she still finds time to
entertain us, even if it's just sitting there, looking pretty,
as she always does.

Deeva is going full speed ahead in her agility career. She has finished her
Masters titles and is going for her MaCH. She took some time off for her
litter of two in the spring of 2003. She is continuing her quest for her
MaCH . She ended her Mother hood career by giving us two lovely
puppies out of Can Ch.Gemstar's American Pie. You will meet our
new addition later. Deeva qualified and attended the AKC Agility
Nationals in Tampa, FL Jan 2005. What a great time that was.
Deeva is very close to her MaCh. We can't wait for the day
to take that victory lap around the ring.

Carlee was one cute puppy, we knew right away she was the one to keep from
Laine's second litter out of NZ Ch Fantango Guns-n-Roses. She has taken on
the agility world. She is going strong. Although the see-saw is not her
favorite obstacle she has overcome it at times to win classes. She
has achieved her AKC Master Jumpers Title and her Excellent
standard Title.

She enjoys life and being Aunt to our new addition Breezon. She has fun in
whatever comes her way, as long as the see-saw stays away. She has
taken a break from standard competition, but enjoys playing in
jumpers and the games of USDAA agility. She is definitely our
free spirit just watch out for that wind.
