Project Lead the Way

Currently the CCEIT SLC is offering the "Project Lead the Way" (PLTW) Digital Electronics course to North High School students. More information can also be found on the "PLTW" website above.
Project Lead The Way Inc. is a national program forming partnerships among Public Schools, Higher Education Institutions and the Private Sector to increase the quantity and quality of engineers and engineering technologists graduating from our educational system.

PLTW has developed a four year sequence of courses which, when combined with college preparatory mathematics and science courses in high school, introduces students to the scope, rigor and discipline of engineering and engineering technology prior to entering college.

The courses are: Introduction to Engineering Design, Digital Electronics, Principles of Engineering, Computer Integrated Manufacturing, and Engineering Design and Development.

The program incorporates standards from the organizations listed below.
   *The National Academy of Science
   *The National Council of Teachers of
   *Mathematics
   International Technology Education Association

CCEIT also offer courses and certification in
Electronics. Mr. Lewicki, is an International Society of Certified Electronics Technician (ISCET). He also administers certification tests for ISCET.  Click on the links below for detailed information on electronics certification.
