Diving the Yamagiri Maru

The Yamagiri Maru is known for her cargo. In her number five hold there are some huge naval artillery shells, for the primary batteries of Japan's battleships. Some soruces say that these are the 18" projectiles that were exclusively used in the IJN battleships Musashi and Yamato. The 18" guns are the largest naval rifles ever afloat. Other sources report that these are more generic 14" shells, which is not nearly as cool.
