Skinny

She was petite,
I thought she was skinny;
She was beautiful,
At least she was to me;
She loved to cuddle,
Get as close as could be;
She was so soft,
Smooth as satin sheets.

She had the ferocity of a big cat,
She had a soul of pure gold,
Why my baby Skinny left me
Will remain a mystery unknown.

Her boyfriend came by tonite,
Together we sat in her chair and cried.
He took my gentle ear strokes,
And laid his head at her place on my thigh.

Why our baby Skinny had to go
Will remain a mystery unknowm.
