I Am Not Anne

I am not Anne
I have never claimed to be
nothing more than I am.
Usually I claim less
unless forced to confess
I willingly give up my name.
Only once was I insane
but if you ask my brothers
they will say I never got off the train.
They who are farmers, adulterers, and thieves
they deem themselves qualified to
pass judgement upon me.
The evil among us who think
two C's an hour is fair
have little balls and thinning hair.
Use extreme caution entering their lair
glass walled with ego stained halls
they make decisions to keep themselves
alive.
You want to tarnish my pride
soil me with your shit
have me live in your desecrated pit
Until I believe your lies
Until I give my own life
To keep you alive.
I am not Anne.
