The news you're gonna see
when you view the evening T.V.,
The news you're gonna read
in the only rag in this town,
is spoon fed pablum for the masses.
And if you don't choke while it's going down
you deserve to sit there on your ass,
you deserve what you've been passed
as reality by the rich and powerful
who refuse to see
the dirt in the cracks
of their steel and glass
monuments to futility.
The news,
it's about them
and all the good they do,
it's about us
and all the bad we do,
and this is backwards,
and this is Dallas news.
