A Little About The Author Of This Page :
Hello, my name is Elizabeth Holt, better known to my friends on IRC as LadyEJ or just "EJ". I was born in the UK (Altrincham), but came to the States with my parents as a small child, and grew up in Melrose, Massachusetts, 7 miles north of Boston. I'm now living in beautiful Augusta, Georgia - Home of the Master's Golf Tournament.
My interests are wide and varied. Currently, at the top of my list are IRCing and ballroom dance.
I'm also an avid reader and particularly love historical novels and biographies of well known people, although I've been known to read a romance novel occasionally!! ;)) If you've read a great book recently, email me and let me know about it.
I also love to garden and have a great English cottage garden, where I mostly grow the old-fashioned flowers (Aster Daisies, snap-dragons, hollyhocks, and David Austin Roses, to name a few) Also, I grow many of my own vegetables. There's nothing like picking fresh veggies for dinner, and nothing beats home-grown, vine-ripened tomatoes. Gardening is my therapy and I enjoy every minute of it. Among my other interests are cooking, interior decorating, all kinds of needle work (particularly needle-point, knitting and crocheting), playing the piano, listening to good music, particulary opera and classical, although I like many other kinds of music too.....yes even a bit of Country and Western (thanks to my friend Ryan (OChaos) who has sent me many wavs and a video of Garth Brooks) ;)) |
