								Mathu Andersen bio
						Mathu Andersen has been a make-up artist  for over ten years.  He was born in Sydney where he studied fashion and textile design at the Sydney College of Arts.  While in college he was discovered by an editor of leading Australian fashion magazine and was encouraged to leave the school and pursue a carreer in make-up and hair.  He has no formal training.  Wanting to further hes carreer he left for Europe,  via New York City where he decided to stay .  He meet Steve Klein and formed a working relationship that quickly estabilished his name. He was soon working with the biggest photographers in the fashion industry.  Then Mathu met Zaldy Goco and formed the influetial partnership of Mathu & Zaldy. Their work in fashion and image design incorporates photography,  clothes design,  hair and make-up and art direction.  Their work has been seen in fashion magazines and videos.  Though he has a definite style  of make-up.  He is extremely versatile .  His clients range from Jennifer Lopes,  Gwen Stefani,  kelis and Janet Jackson,  Dolce Gabbana,  Annie Leibowitz and Steven Meisel.
