Transforming a Dream into Reality

EIKO all started when one of the founders of Krizia came home from a trip in Japan and brought with her personalized bracelets and cell phone accessories for personal use, which were also intended to serve as presents for her children. Surprisingly, the response of her children was astonishing. When one of her children, Queen brought the accessories to her school, her classmates were all so fascinated and enthralled with the personalized items. They wanted to know where she got the items and also wanted to have some for themselves. Because of this, Queen insisted that the product should be brought to the Philippines and be sold locally.

Queen started thinking of colors and designs for the selling carts and packaging. Seeing her daughter light up with such passionate entrepreneurial spirit at a very young age, full of creative ideas, Queen’s mom was inspired to put everything into paper without Queen knowing. From there a child’s dream was turned into reality. Queen started selling EIKO accessories to her classmates in high school during breaks and would spend time at the branches during weekends. At a tremendous pace of launching one store per month, EIKO was able to garner three of the most outstanding marketing awards within a short period of time. During store openings, Queen would spend time to help decorate the store to attract more customers. Moreover, Queen now helps her mom with the purchasing of the latest designs as they go to different countries together. Until today, she continues to be the walking advertisement and image model of EIKO – a brand that has evolved into one of the most successful ones in the fashion and accessories industry.
