MY MOBILES

The first mobile i used back in 1994..motorola microtac...my ex gf owns it.Like many others,I could't afford one couse i was just starting with my new job after completing my NS.Pagers and pager phones were the craze back then..and mobile subscription and usage cost a bomb.Back then sigtel was the only service provider for telecomunation in Singapore.At 3.9oz claimed to be the lightest flip mobile in the world in it's time.

1996 I bought my first mobile...the new ph337($1100)..pcn/gsm1800 was quite new in Singapore so the reception wasn't very good especialy in rural areas.3 months down and I sold it and bought the GH388.same dimentions and weigh about 170g..one of the lightest and smallest phone to have.Start of a new era...everyone wants one and most owns one.every hp shops and pasar malam were selling fake colourfull covers and acssessories.From a sophisticated buisiness phone turned into a fashion gadget...So who started the era of fashion and colourful phones??not ERICSSON though...the new ERICSSON GH388...The trend setter

1997 motorola came out with a totaly new dwsign and concept in mobile.The wearable fashion phone with futureristic design,smallest and lightest at 105g.Bought 1 at over $900 ater i lost my ERICSSON.During this time,MOBILE ONE had already entered and was competing agressively against Sigtel...and so we have the subscription slashed,lots of discounts on mobile phone.So when lots of people could afford a mobile phone...this little gadget became the next big thing.AND with aftermarket colourfull casings selling everywherefrom Singapore 2 jb..the ERICSSON's popularity slowly fades away.The phone lasted for about 15 months until it slowly breaks into pieces..the new MOTOROLA STARTAC...The pioneer of fashion phones.

After my motorola died..i bought a used ericsson gf788 for $150.believe it or not this was Ericsson's  answer to the startac when it first came out.It cost $700 back then.comes in different colours.it was the smallest mobile phone and the coolest thing to have at that time.

I bought this in January 2000 for $370.The features were better than my previous hp..and it was my first mobile with games.Was this NOKIA's first mobile with expresson covers?..what i know is lots of people were buying  nokias and the pasar malam and everywhere in Singapore and JB were selling 3210 colour covers.Nokia has seen the success of the previous ERICSSON and MOTOROLA  and improve them by introducing  diy expresson colour for their phones.The new NOKIA 3210..Setting the standards

I bought this phone in may 2001 after loosing the 3210 for $198.the best phone so far..wap,irda,organizer and many more...much better than 3210 for almost half the price.evrything i nedded is in the phone.and look at the design..sleek and professional.I love this phone..too bad i lost it after 6 mth.The new SIEMENS S35i..the first SIEMENS built in antena phone.

Not a bad phone this NOKIA3310...in terms of design and functions...but still loose out to s35i.bought it for my gf in august2000.better and smaller than 3210.$360

I BOUGHT THESE GUYS FOR MY PARENTS IN NOV 2000.(FOR ABOUT $140)..AND UP TILL NOW IT NEVER GAVE THEM ANY PROBLEMS.THE NEW SIEMENS 1118 AND C35I/3508I.

NOKIA has done it again by introducing the new nokia 8210.One of the smallest and lightest around and look at that lovely design and exchangeble covers.suitable for ladies.I bought for $198 after trade in any dualband hp in November 2001.it's a birthday present for my gf.......stolen after 6 mths.Newer models doesn't mean better..as i found out.The 3310 has more features.The new NOKIA8210...CONNECTING PEOPLE

I used the ericsson T28 for about 3 weeks after loosing my s35.i like the design alot and it's the lightest mobile i have used so far.and the features offered  are quite abundant.it cost $1400 when it first hit the market...but now u could buy a used one for $100.Too bad the phones often always trying to search for a signal.

The most beautiful phone in the world.simple but elegant design makes this phone stand out from the rest.June 2002..Bought 2 sets 4 me and my gf for about $300 after trading in a nokia 3210.This phone sucks big time.it's the same phone as the 8210 only a bit bigger and heavier.except for irda..it doesnt have wap,gprs,organizer,and many more compared to s35i.ater 3 mths,I Sold it and bought an me45,while my gf traded it for a 6510....The new NOKIA 8250...Beauty with no brains

I got a chance to test this baby for 2 weeks b4 giving the green light to my gf to trade the 8250+$100 for this and boy did i ever regreted doing that.Don't get me wrong..the new NOKIA 6510 is wonderful.Infact it's the best mobile phone i've handled.The problem was when the time comes..it was difficult to let go.since i was still using the 8250.current price is about $300.probably the best of nokia so far....the new NOKIA 6510...GO GET IT   (I CHANGED THE CASING AND BUTTON TO MATCH THE ONE ON THE RIGHT.

My current mobile phone.At $148 it's a steal.i bought it last mth (AUGUST2002).The only phone which are comparable to me45 -nokia6510 and ERICSSON T39.why didn't i choose the nokia6510?1: UNIQUE  AND SLEEK DESIGNS(no other phone looks like it.2:water,shock,dust resistance(dare to submerge your phone inside a glass of water?)3:better features,4:it cost less with 2 yr plan but cost more than 6510  on it's own((checkout cnetasia)My next mobile should be an s55 mainly because siemens makes  very good phones and sells  it at resonable pricesThe new siemens ME45...BE INSPIRED
