Hi there! In the summer of 2001 (summer as in north hemisfere summer, not my brazilian summer in December!) I spent a few weeks in Bulgaria with my friend Elena. She took me there to vist her family. It was a really good experience. I got to visit several places and meet her family and friends and take a close look at Bulgaria, one typical eastern european country. All pictures are from late August to early September 2001 (actually, not really, I came back on Sep, 2nd, anyway...).

This is me in Nessebar, Bulgaria. Nessebar is a famous
beach resort. Girls walk around topless there (sorry guys, no pictures for you!), which was new to me, since
in Brazil these things don't really happen just anywhere, despite all
common belief of people here in the US and in the world.
This is a colorful fair in the old part of Nessebar (the
part that once belonged to the roman empire).
