WOW! I can't believe this page still exists. Nearly 4 years without an update and I can STILL post a news item. No, I am not about to announce the release of EditMap 2.0, unfortunately I have completely forgotten how to use Flash. The only reason I am doing this is because I was bored, I searched google for 'TimeSplitters EditMap' and was AMAZED that even to this day, people are still talking about it. I thought it was only a few mates who used this thing. I never knew it got so wide spread. I am officially announcing the END of EditMap. There will NEVER be another update. We've been doing some maintenance work and we got a new hit counter cause stats4all decided that they don't like giving out free services... We have a bravenet counter now, hopefully they will stay a free service :). Keep the maps coming, we will try to put them up more quickly than in previous months. Hmm thats all for now... I was getting a pretty big backlog of maps in my Inbox, so I thought I had better put them up. Sorry for not doing it quicker. Have a look at the Maps section for the 3 new additions.In other TS2 related news, I finally beat the game on hard today and got that almighty 100%! Hiyo! Just telling everybody that we will not accept maps in any form except for JPEG or similar. Please do not send massive BMP files or inaccessible PUB files, that’s just pointless 'cause we wont post them. Please do the best you can to keep the files under 200K or maybe 500K if ABSOLUTELY necessary (eg. A 6 story map could be 500K). I just wrote this so people who have done this will know the reason why we haven't uploaded their maps.

Wow, it's been a while since I updated this page. I thought I'd better upload the maps that had been sitting in my Inbox for a while, sorry to those people for not getting your maps up sooner. Hopefully I haven't made any mistakes, I did it fairly quickly. I added an EditMap Legend I received as well, I hope the creator doesn't mind me using it, check it out in the Menu. As for the Editmap side of things, no updates so far. Hopefully there will be a new version out soon to fix the problems with the current one.I'm also thinking about running a map making competition on this site. I have no idea what the prizes will be or how it will work, so if you have any idea's send me an e-mail. Before I go, I just have to say that today I beat the Siberian Dam on the Hard difficulty. I couldn't believe I finally did it. Oh, keep sending in your maps too, it's fun seeing what people can come up with. Catch you later. - apoc x

EditMap 0.03 is now available!! Download it here or click on the EditMap link to use it in your browser. This version features upgraded tiles and a new grid (it doesn't go all weird when its not viewed at 100%). This is the best update yet, so enjoy and keep the maps coming!

An update to EditMap is here! Check it out! You can download version 0.02 here! Unfortunatly the cursor created a few problems so we had to go standard for this version. Also, make sure you click on 'items' as soon as you start otherwise the first tile placed will dissapear. Weird, hey?

Welcome to the homepage of EditMap©! We haven't done much at all, nothing flashy, Just basic and easy to use... Anyway enough of the pointless chit-chat. Lets get down to business... EditMap© is a program made in Macromedia Flash where you can create and share TimeSplitters 2 maps. Its extremely simple at the moment but it will improve in the next few months, depending on how well it takes off. It includes all of the tiles seen in the original Mapmaker, allowing the ability to rotate and be snapped to the grid nicely. Unfortunatly, we have not been able to include multiple stories, not that this will stop you from sharing multi-story maps, you just cant't have them in the same picture. Understand? There are quite a few bugs at present in cluding the fact that we cannot delete the peices after they have been placed and the numbers rotate with the piece...Hopefully this will be fixed in later versions. If you would like to use this little program just click on the link below to use it in your browser (Must support Flash files. Eg. Internet Explorer) or download the offline file Here. You can make maps and E-mail the pictures to your friends or post them on a forum, however you share your maps is up to you. Remember don't spend all day on the computer... You should be playing TS2!
