Journey to Japan

a dream come true for Mrs. Ellen Dambach

After being selected to participate in the innovative 2002 Fulbright Memorial Fund (FMF) Teacher Program, Ellen Dambach, a second grade teacher at Rolling Hills Primary School, Vernon, New Jersey, left for Japan October 6, 2002 for a three- week professional development experience.

I thank JUSEC and the Fulbright Memorial Fund for this once- in- a- lifetime opportunity.

I hope this learning web site with my photographs will help elementary teachers and students appreciate and understand the wonders of Japan, its people, culture and educational system.

Please, email me about your reactions or questions about my website. edambach@ptd.net

This is our group, the Toyama 20, with the interpreter and guides. We spent nine days together in Toyama in Toyama Prefecture.
