Acad. Paata Gugushvili Georgian Economic-Humanitarian Institute (GEHI) is established in 1992 by Georgian Academy of Economic Sciences. In 1996 Institute is named by Academician Paata Gugushvili.

On the basis of GEHI are functioning: 

  •  Economic-Humanitarian College, 

                                                                 and

  •  Courses of

    • Foreign languages

    • International bookkeeping

    • Computer education

Economic-Humanitarian College unites divisions:

  •  Faculty of Economics
  •  Faculty of Law and International Relations
  •  Faculty of Philology and Journalism
  •  Faculty of Pedagogies
  •  Faculty of History and Arts

There are Chairs, Cathedras:

  •  United Cathedra of Economics
  •  United Cathedra of Humanitarian sciences
  •  Cathedra of Natural and Technical sciences
  •  Cathedra of Foreign languages
  •  Cathedra of Pedagogies and Methodists

Staff of the GEHI is 72 professors and teachers. Among them 1 corresponding member of Georgian Science Academy, 15 doctors of science, 38 candidates of sciences.

Midyear contingent of students is 450.

Studying programs of GEHI are coordinated with requirements of Ministry of Education and Tbilisi State University.
