Welcome to my journal! As you know, I'm Kharkia, a Kiko. Kikos are by far the cutest Neopets. I don't understand why they're not as popular. I mean, how many Kikos do you see running shops or having games named after them. I haven't seen a shop, and the only games are Neggsweeper and KikoMatch. Now how easy are those? Don't you think I should get my very own game based on my exciting life? It could be called Kharkia's Journeys. Well. So much for that. But you can read about my journeys here, in my journal. It's updated quite frequently. I like to write. Besides, I'm sure you love seeing my pictures, don't you? Of COURSE you do! Don't lie now. Keeheehee!

6-6-01 As you can see, the green Kiko above is admiring the trophy. I think all Kikos should be recognized; I can't wait until our day comes around. It's in July I think (I'm forgetful). Anyways, I guess I'm off to play some Kiko Match. Have fun everyone! |

| 6-5-01 Whoa! I'm so sorry I haven't updated, Mandy was thinking about updating the journal just yesterday. But AHH!!! WE MADE THE NEOPETS SPOTLITE SITE! :flops around on the floor and hurts her right fin: Oy. That's gonna leave a mark. Anyways, I am SOOO happy! A lot of you were asking about help with HTML, and graphics. Here's my owner Mandy to answer your questions! What programs do you use? Well - I use Paint Shop Pro 7, but to draw freehand Kikos, I use Flash 5. I also use Jasc's Animation Shop 3. I'm sorry I can't help you guys all out, one by one, I know I'll be getting Neomailed for a week now. But y'know; I'm working on a site for my guild which will answer all of your questions! Right now, it's not full done; but we're working on it! Kharkia doesn't get it as often anymore, and since I've been a Neopian for one year (on my lemonheads13 account), I know a lot more now, figuring I took a little leave of Neopets for a few months there. As for drawing those pictures; yes. I plan on becoming a professional graphic designer. It's a great thing to do; and the job outlook is great. Even my boyfriend is getting into it, look at his Kiko above (in the shades)! Hehehe.. |

| 5-11-01 I got sick again with Neopox. :AGH!: Mandy paid a whopping 3,000NP or so just to get me some Neopox Pizza. I feel spoiled. It's all my fault. Anyways, since I don't have anything else to talk about, I'd like to mention my past friend, Dementia_Lynn. |
| Dementia_Lynn was one of the coolest ugly things I've ever met. She was a Grundo (I believe that's what they're called). She had the cutest smile, and if her eyes weren't so big, and so red, maybe she would have been more photogenic (I hope she isn't reading this). But Mandy didn't mean to adopt her when she did, and we could not afford to keep up. Things were really poor and we were both very hungry. We both talked it over one night, and decided she should go. I felt completely awful. But she was very willing, and I knew she would go on to a better place. I have not checked on her recently. I'll find out who her new owner is and tell her what we have been up to lately. Well, I best be on my way now! Keeheehee!! |

| 5-6-01 I'm all better now! Yesterday Mandy grabbed some Neopox Pizza and it was absolutely delicious. Today we restocked the store, a bunch. Some of my friends decided to stop playing and left their items and NP to Mandy. They're so nice! I'm having a great day, playing with my pet Spyder. Didn't I tell you about him? *GASP* I didn't?! I got a pet Spyder, Dinky, and he's the sweetest! You should visit us sometime. |

| There isn't much going on. Actually, yesterday was fairly disappointing. 3 girls Mandy went to school with last year were down at the Columbia River and two of them drown. One survived (the one she knew best). :Sigh: I'm not really sure what to talk about. Mandy is thinking about creating a few Neopet backgrounds/screensavers with Flash. She loves that program to death. Soon she plans on getting Photoshop or Illustrator. But who knows. |

Mandy's crazy! Look at all the silly drawings of me. I didn't know I was so loved :D But unfortunately I'm still sick with Neopox :( And we saw some Neopox Pizza in the pharmacy but as soon as Mandy tried to grab it, someone else had taken it away! GRRRRR!!! Anyways, I'm doing fine. I just hope that I get better soon; these might put a scar on my lovely yellow submarine skin; eek! |

| 4-29-01 Oh my! I'm sick! It itches! HELLLLP!!! I need some Neopox Pizza, but Mandy can't find any! If the Water Faerie wasn't blocking the Shop Wizard I wouldn't be so miserable. I thought faeries were good! Ugh, I guess I'll just sit here and itch all day. |
