"Ebony'"was born from the union of Rachel and the late Richard Nelson.  Ebony' is an inspirational young lady who was born to sing at a tender age.  Brought up in church, she developed a love and passion for music.  In her later years, she attended Northwestern High School, where she and some of her friends use to "Rock" the hallways before the sounding of the bell.  Gary, Antwan, and Ebony' were encouraged by their Math teacher, Mr. Bassoff to follow their dreams.  Therefore, the three of them got together and started calling around for auditionings; and finally one did come thru for them.  They performed,"End of the Road" by BoyzIIMen.  Unfortunately, their auditioning flopped due to a member of the group not remembering his verse which led all of them into argument, and immediate dismissal from the studio.  Since that incident, the group had went their seperate ways.  Some months ago, Ebony' then joined forces with a rap group by the name of "Hard Core Administration".  The members of HA were, Rex, Wicked, Star and Ebony' who's stage name was Juice.  That name was given to her by Wicked because he digged her vocals and the way she flows.  Later on, HA had entered into a Talent Show that was being held by Jermaine Dupri.  At the time of the event, Ebony' was not present but was still considered a member of the group.  Although, the group did not win, they're performance was excellent.  On good terms, Ebony'then departed to go her own seperate way to fulfill her dream and that was to sing. In June of 1993, Ebony' sung at the Washington Monument in front of thousands of people.  This event was held to help "Increase the Peace in the Washington Metropolitan Area".  The song that she sung was "Imagine" by Tracy Spencer, and tore it up.  Her excellent performance left her with high acclaims posted in the Washington Post.  Also in, 1993, she met Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (DRS) that sung the hit song, "Gangsta Lean".  Along with DRS, she had also met, T who was featured in R.Kelly's Summer Bunnies video.  T, and Ebony' stayed in touched with each other for the longest.  He knew all about her talents, and encouraged her constantly to continue to press towards her dream.  Through all of her encouragements, she's now successfully under the management of Phil "Rock" Wilson, and is currently working on her CD which is entitled, Ebony'.
