Position held:	Customer Sales & Service Assistant (part-time)
Duties include:	serving tickets on cash desk; assisting within kiosk; maintenance of stock control accounts and weekly cash report summaries.

Position held:	Part-time Tutor of music
Duties include:	Tuition of electronic keyboard/piano; organisation of small-scale concerts.

Duties include:	Researching the suitability and stability of drug carriers (polymer vesicles) for gene delivery.

Positions of Responsibility

• Presently a part-time employee of Odeon Cinemas, I am responsible for the daily cash returns and ensure that each "weekly cash report summary" balances. As a member of a team involved in stock control, I ensure that stock control is accurately maintained (via the daily completion of stock control accounts).
• Within my role as part-time tutor for Hamilton District Arts' Guild, I am responsible for the content and style of the lessons that I give to the guild members, while helping to organise various small musical productions that are held within the guild.

Leisure Activities

• During my youth, I was actively involved in competitive swimming and enjoyed considerable success as a junior. As a student, I am a member of Strathclyde University Swimming Club.
• I love to play the piano, both in private and with the other members of Hamilton District Arts' Guild.

• Qualified First Aider (with the British Red Cross)

• Can operate a range of computer application packages (Excel, Word for windows).



• Good communication and analytical skills - gained through the preparation of written and oral presentations and from statistically analyzing raw data for my research projects; teamwork skills gained within the academic environment (projects), the working environment (working with fellow music tutors), and the leisure environment (swimming team).
• Clean Driving license (with 5 years of driving experience).
