Bill Fischer began studying Kenpo Karate in January 1994, and earned his 1st degree Black Belt in September 1999 before an international board of Black belts.  March 2002, Mr. Fischer successfully tested and earned his 2nd degree Black Belt.   He is currently continuing his training under his instructor Mr. Keith Gorham, 6th degree black belt.  He began teaching at Mr. Gorham’s studio in November 1999 before starting his own club. He is affiliated with the American Kenpo Karate International (AKKI).

Mr. Fischer enjoys teaching Kenpo Karate because he is able to take a student with little or no knowledge of self-defense and effectively train them to defend themselves, their families, and those near to them.  Some of the other benefits of Kenpo Karate are: self-confidence, self-discipline, stress relief, aerobic exercise, and muscle flexibility.  Kenpo Karate is not only impressive to see, but is devastating to experience.

Eastside Kenpo Karate was started in January 2000 in east Fort Worth, TX.  He has taught Junior through Intermediate Adult classes.  In January 2002 Mr. Fischer began teaching in Decatur, TX.  He is currently teaching Adult beginner, Adult intermediate, Junior, and Young Lions classes.

Our classes stress exercise, techniques, forms, sets, and sparring.  Unlike most other martial arts styles, we do not promote any eastern philosophy or mysticism.

Mr. Fischer works full time at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company in Fort Worth as an Industrial Security Representative.  He has been with them for 14 years.

He is married to Dorcas G. Fischer and has 3 beautiful daughters.
