Mission Moments:
The Watoto Concert was a HUGE success! It was very well attended and we raised $1600 that will help build more homes for the Watoto Missions in Uganda. The children were gracious and the performance was wonderful. Thanks to all who attended and a special thank-you to all who hosted and helped with the concert and dinner. ECCC Food Pantry
It is our hope that we can encourage each family to bring one item per month to help supply our food pantry. If we can accomplish this, it will help to keep our costs down at the end of the year when we do our purchasing for the Christmas baskets. It would be great if we received 25 items of the products we request each month. For November we are asking for cereal. We thank everyone who has faithfully brought in items to restock our food pantry shelvesRemember to get your Kroger gift certificates from the office. 5% of the sales goes toward supplementing our food pantry and helps keep us prepared for emergency needs.
Adopt-A-Family
It is time once again to prepare for our holiday Adopt-A-Family program. Our goal is to provide food, clothing and toys for 25 families. We are only taking names provided by our church family. We will not take anyone who calls in. If you know of someone who needs assistance, please give the information to Carol Pozz or the church office. We need these names by Sunday, November 24 in order to process them as quickly as possible. We will have information sheets for each family and the names in turn will be distributed to you as they are received. Once you receive your names, we need gifts to be returned, wrapped and ready to deliver. Cash donations will be gladly accepted to help purchase fresh food for the baskets.We need a lot of help delivering baskets and will let you know what the delivery date will be. There will be a sign up sheet on the bulletin board if you would like to help in anyway. Don’t forget purchasing Kroger certificates helps us earn money for the food baskets. You can purchase Kroger certificates from the church office. We are asking you to pray that Christ will be glorified through our efforts.
